3) Gen 1. I haven't finished any of the original RGBY games, but I think I like them purely due to nostalgia value.
4) Gen 4. I haven't finished Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, and I don't know if I intend to.
5) Gen 3. Mechanics-wise, it introduced Natures and Abilities, which changed the series for the better. Story-wise, it introduced the whole "evil team calls forth a Legendary that you have to calm down" which got stale over time de arimasu
6) Gen 6. It was higher on this list...but then I played ORAS.

I know people probably ask this a lot, but which pokemon does /vp/ think came first. Mew or Arceus?
Mew is believed to be the ancestor fr all pokemon. It can also learn every TM & HM while Arceus can't and it contains the DNA of every pokemon. Arceus has myths that say it created the pokemon universe. Has Gamefreak stated anything to support either one as the very first pokemon?

So Arcues makes a pokemon that can learn every move even though it can't do it itself? That makes no sense to me. If Arceus created a pokemon that could learn every move then Arecus should be able to learn every move. That's why I think Mew came first. Also Arceus dna isn't found in every pokemon like Mew's is.
