I've been brainstorming Sound a lot lately but seem to have run into an issue, figured I'd post it here:
Normal has 66 Physical moves and 19 Special moves, but 7 of those special moves would become Sound type:
Boomburst, Echoed Voice, Hyper Voice, Relic Song, Round, Snore, Uproar
Only 12 special moves would remain Normal type:
Hidden Power, Hyper Beam, Judgment, Razor Wind, Sonic Boom, Spit Up, Swift, Techno Blast, Tri Attack, Trump Card, Wring Out, Weather Ball
Of those Judgment and Techno Blast are exclusive to Arceus and Genesect; Sonic Boom does set damage (and might become Sound also), while Hidden Power isn't really a Normal move, leaving us with only 8.
Are we really okay with Normal only having 8 accessible special moves, yet 66 Physical moves?
In addition, do we change the type of the other sound-based, non-Normal moves, like Bug Buzz, Chatter, Disarming Voice, Parting Shot and Snarl? Do we make them "Dual-type" moves like Flying Press?
Note that disregarding Status moves that would become Sound-type, since Normal has like a hundred of those: Confide, Grass Whistle, Growl, Metal Sound, Noble Roar, Perish Song, Roar, Screech Sing, and Supersonic.

Do you think the mainline games will ever have 360° camera control? It didn't happen this generation and it's unlikely to happen in gen 7 because the 3DS only has one analog stick (unless they let you control the camera with the N3DS's C-stick). Gen 5 and 6 already had areas with a dynamic camera, so this would just be the next step.

In the concept art shown of the new Pokemon Center in the announcement trailer for Sun and Moon they had it drawn or modeled out with a view from the front, side, and back which have made a lot of people believe that we could get full camera control this generation. As for how to implement it, I'm not too sure, unless they make it mapped to the shoulder buttons for all models or even make it mapped to the L and R buttons for the normal 3DS and 2DS and then to the new C-Stick for the New 3DS.

They need to draw all 3D objects from all angles, even if the game has a fixed camera. You never really just leave half the model untextured.

So will Sun and Moon have updated graphics? Surely they won't do an entire overhaul again. I'm thinking they'll use the same models as X and Y with updated animations.

They'll probably do something that can take advantage of the n3DS' hardware but keep it optimized for the regular 3DS
I hope they would also redo some models as well. I love the look of shiny Delphox but it's model is fucking atrocious for me to use.

The XY models have so many fucking polygons it isn't even funny. They were designed for multi-generation use. They're not doing a model overhaul anytime soon.
