So, /vp/, do you name your pokemon?
If so, do you have a specific theme? Do you make them up on the spot? Do you make awful puns/jokes with the names? Do you name them after your pets?
I personally name them after what they remind me of. But in Sun I will have a theme for naming everyone I catch. Right now I'm replaying White and naming everyone after a city.

Like so many invasive species that now run amuck on islands around the world, mongooses were intentionally introduced to Hawaii. Sugar cane farmers took their cue from Jamaican plantation owners who imported mongooses to control rat populations.
Looks like its rival pokemon will be some kind of rat, not another snake.
Maybe there was an absurd amount of Pikachu on the island and Yungoose was brought in to keep population low.
It's a new pokemon. It was mentioned in Yungoos' dex entry, which is why it was skipped over when they caught it.

Why can't you see a gem/stone in the bracelet? I noticed it in the battle royal trailer thing, so I checked the other videos with it in sight, and they all were missing the gem/stone.
The official art makes it stand out, but the models don't? From what I recall, you can see the mega keystone on the bracelet on the full model

No shit faggot, that's the reason it's strange. Why would they give you a mega/synchro/whatever bracelet with no gem? IIRC you get the mega bracelets with the keystone in it.
Maybe the theory that the bracelet is a gym bag holder thing has something to it like getting all of them unlocks the power?
