For me, it would have to be Blaziken. I hate the fact that it constantly steals the spotlight from my favorite Pokémon. It's just not fair.

It's good, but not great. In theory it can get rid of its checks with a specific combo (like sun + solarbeam against Azu/Keldeo, FB under sun 2HKOs Altaria who fails to KO back with EQ), but then it gets walled by Chansey. It's also weak to rocks, gets flattened by any revenge killer and has an ok but not great speed tier. It'd be awesome if it didn't have to compete with other megas.

I first learned they were a thing when I ran across them in my local electronics store. I was shocked the Pokemon series was still going strong (thought it was going to end after gen 2 since everyone was getting out of it). Convinced my mother to get me Ruby. Loved them out of the box. I didn't know how much of a backlash they got until I started using the internet for something other than silly flash games.

I don't mind the design although I don't really consider it an improvement over Sceptile. I cannot stand his stance though, the stupid backwards pose makes me hate it.
