I've been at a friend's house for the past few days, playing GO when the servers haven't been shit. They happen to live near a cemetery. I'm more than willing to hold down those gyms and what not all night long, but they think that it's weird to just go in a cemetery and do that. So, long story short is, we don't go in there. However, skip to now and its 4 in the morning. I saw my red gyms slowly get wittled down and turned into blue gyms, so I said fuck it and hopped the fence.
The car with the blue team members in it went home as I hopped the fence, so I made the gyms all red again. v nice to feel like I helped.
I decided recently that Pokemon Go could go fuck itself, and I would play the old classic. I still have a 20 year old copy of Blue, my first generation Game Boy and a Game Boy Color, so as long as I put a fresh battery in the game I'd be fine. I had done the same thing to a Gold version cartridge years ago and it worked, so I thought I could do it again.
I took the old battery out and put in a new one, but now in game I can't save my progress because I can't open the menu. If I press Start, nothing happens. The result is the same in both Game Boys, so I figure it's the game. Any ideas?

Emulator or buy a new one. They're still cheap and easy to find, because they made a fucking ton of them.

Alright /vp/ I can't find a working B2 rom with the exp fixed, and every AR code I've used for Desmume doesn't work or crashes the game. Is there any patched or fixed roms I'm unaware of?

It's not that hard, but my recommendation is always to patch it yourself.
Download the unpatched ROM, then find the patch ("Black 2 AP patch" or "Black 2 exp patch"), then apply it with LIPS or x-delta3 or whatever. If you're on Mac, you can use MultiPatch.
