The only thing "bad" about it are Jesse and James imho. I never liked it even as a kid , i am glad they never included elements from the anime in the following games. Aside from that, and the nostalgia thing, it is better than RB .

Pikachu isn't in the Unova dex. Kind of hard to get hold of a Charizard too, without cheats. Very scary stuff for oldgenners.

It's what almost made me lose interest in Pokemon and even now, so long after they were introduced, I still fucking hate them. I might like an occasional mega, but it doesn't make up for my general hate of the mega system even existing.
