Hey everyone
There's been a lot of worrying lately over whether progress isn't moving as quickly as it should be. Hopefully this information update should clear things up a bit for everyone and give a better idea of what things are going on, and what things will be like moving forward.

The Clover Github is where all updates to the game will be done from here on out, with this anyone can go on and take a look at the latest scripts added in, and make their own scripts to be added to the main repository.
The Github is owned by NewDenverCity, and co-managed by Padz and I. If you would like to create your own scripts, you can send them in to the github with a pull request, and they will most likely make it into the game.
>About Speed of Progress
If you've been on /vp/ for the last few days, you may have noticed the banner ads that someone bought trying to incite Pokemon Sage's development team to work faster.
Similar to Sage's development, Clover's development is at a point where nearly all the work is technical in some form, either involving scripting or some kind of code debugging.
Keep in mind that only a few team members, namely NewDenverCity, Squeetz, and Numel know how script, and the latter two of them haven't been around much, as well as working on their own projects in addition to Clover.
In response, as of yesterday i decided to begin trying to pick up the slack, i'm playing through the current romversion to see where to continue trainer scripts from to take some amount of the script burden off of Squeetz and co.
If you would like to learn how to script too, here is a great tutorial on pokecommunity:

Please take into consideration that Clover's dev team works on the game as a hobby project, not a full time job.
We can use all the support we can get, and any newfriends are welcome to come onboard.

PROGRESS UPDATE:
Currently, NDC gets back from his vacation in 8 days (NOW 7 DAYS AS OF REPOST), in the meantime i have been working on trainer scripts with padz.
I redid a few ones today that i had previously done a few days ago after getting more details on how to do it correctly by NDC in correlation with padz help.
Over the next few days i'm hoping i can knock out enough trainer scripts for NDC or someone to just be able to plug them right into the game and -hopefully- make the next areas of the game currently incomplete a bit more complete.

REMEMBER ANON! YOU TOO CAN HELP! Come on IRC and me or padz or someone competent will how you how to do the trainer scripts, they're unbelievably simple and in the next post i'll show an example script, you can help to create them to help the game be made faster, at least marginally.

I felt like it rose, since it introduced the Maxie/Archie, Maxie/Courtney, Brendan/Courtney and Brendan/Zinnia shit.
I like most Pokémon, and I don't understand the whole "looks like an animal" or "overdesigned" meme.
I like Chimecho, Quagsire, Zorua, etc. because they feel like Pokemon you'd naturally see roaming through the wild.
I can't even think of any overdesigned Pokémon, I don't know what that means. I've seen Garchomp and Solgaleo's names thrown around, but you know what? Garchomp is a final evo, it's what you've put time and effort into evolving, it's exactly what I'd want to see out of a Pokemon that has sat on my team since the 3rd gym. Solgaleo is a legendary, it's an all encompassing Pokémon that signifies something, in this case the sun. It's a bright and vibrant design that I enjoy. Honestly, if anything, the Radiant Sun phase should be more of a disappointment for LOSING color.
"It's just a keychain", "it's just a garbage bag", "it's just a Pokeball", aren't my favorite Pokémon, I'll be honest. That's just because I don't use them. I think they're great designs because it really gives me the feeling that Pokémon have become such a close part of human lifestyle that they begin to imitate it. Every Pokémon game starts off with a speech telling us how Pokémon are friends, partners, massive portions of every person's life; it just makes sense to me that Pokémon found in and near cities resemble objects made by man because they live closely with humans, and that Pokémon that live within the dark recesses of caves begin to look like what they'd see there.
That's my bitch ass rant,now resume catching all 721 of the magnificent beasts.

The problem is the overall quality is going down gen by gen. Obviously every gen has good and bad designs but it's only a matter of time before the amount of bad Pokemon in a gen outnumber the good ones. You can see this already happening in gen 7.
The worst part is you will see people actively defending objectively bad designs like Tumblrfish and Sonichu. I think Alola will be the turning point of the franchise.

For the Masuda conference you'll have to wait. It's night time in France and the masterclass will air at 12:30 French time, so in nearly 11 hours.
And I don't know why but I fell shitty leaks from corocoro this month with the already presented new mons.
Zekrom and Reshiram was well designed Pokemon and the power tail design was badass
N was one of the best antagonists in the series, if not the best, hands down.
Not to mention it was a return to well designed Pokemon, a few ice cream shaped outliers bar, it was a great introduction into Pokemon as shown in a modern world not based off of Japan.

Ruby & Sapphire are constantly praised as having one of the best soundtracks of any Pokemon game because of the innovative use of trumpets. Do you think the remastering was better?
