What does the moon rune translate to?
So I bought Pokemon X yesterday.
And so far it's a really good game. It's the first time since G/S that I enjoy a Pokemon game that much.
But why is it that everyone in this game is giving me Items and everything is build around do make it as easy as possible for you?
I'm only at the beginning at the game but I doubt it'll change

I know this is bait, and I know this post will be called bait, but I had the opposite experience.
The first half of the game was brutally difficult for me, harder than any Pokemon game in years. Even with the exp share on. This was mostly because my early game team wasn't exactly the best suited for the gym battles. Frogadier evolved into Greninja just in time to take on the fighting gym. Meditite had to rely on confusion for battle because it didn't have force palm yet. Amaura couldn't do shit against the grass gym. I also made a house rule that I wouldn't use the gift pokemon like the Kanto starter, Lucario, and Lapras so that probably has something to do with it.
For the first time in a long time, gym leaders (and even a couple of trainer fights) were actually tough to get through. Then in the last half I added Klefki, Trevenant, and Noivern and with exp share it became a cakewalk.

How do we stop stall from taking over? It is literally the most annoying and cancerous play style of the 4. Not to mention it takes the least skill to pull off Toxic+Substitute/ Protect.

How would you feel if Pokemon Sun and Moon scrapped the turn based battle system and switched to a Pokken style fighting mode?
That would mean they'd have to make a ~800 character roster for Pokken. As opposed to the current 14.

I actually fucking love when fighting gameplay is mixed with strategy mechanics. In a perfect world, this would be great.
However, itd be fucking impossible and would raise a countless number of issues that it's not even worth considering.

Last time were the mineral Pokemon Gigalith and prevos, today will be about Gen 5's parallel to Zubat and Golbat, Woobat and Swoobat. My thoughts:
Zubat>Woobat, but Golbat <Swoobat, design wise. Of course the OG bat wins out in the end due to a kickass 3rd evo in Crobat, which Woobat and Swoobat do not have. I haven't used these early Gen 5 Pokes either, so I'd like to know how they performed as an ingame flyer and Psychic type for you, if you used one.
I thought they were really goofy when I first saw them but Woobat and subsequently Swoobat became a mainstay on my team during my run through Black. It wasn't fantastic compared to some of the other psychic types introduced in Gen V but I made it work.
In a mono flying run I did during one of my playthroughs of X I used Swoobat again. It was helpful for poison types.
They look goofy and ridiculous. Just like all gen 5 Pokemon. I swear to GOD, I don't like a single pokemon from that generation.
