Am I the only one who misses the times where you didnt have spoilers, leaks and all the other crap that ruins the old feeling of playing and anticipating Pokemon? So I never really gave Gen 5 a fair shake outside of battle simulators. Never even played B2/W2. Just went back to boot up my Black cartridge sitting around in a box. I just passed Nimbasa City, and kind of just gave up because the game was such a fucking chore for the first stretch especially with the giant encounter rate and shit variation in wild mons.
Now that I'm done blogging, my question is this: do I even bother going on at this point or just finish ORAS to fuel my buyer's remorse? Or ditch it all and keep playing HG/SS?

Hackers will be able to hack future generations too, you will have to live with it. Ruining surprises like new pokemon is shitty but it shouldn't be the reason an entire generation is dead to you. A generation should be more to you than just the next reveal. Unfortunately the 6th generation was quite possible the worst generation by far, all things considered, although maybe gen 4 was just as awful.

the 6th gen died with ORAS. maybe if GF cared about hacking (fat chance) they would have done something to prevent it instead of leaving content they expect to last 3 years all in a single game on launch
