First of all as someone pointed out they are already done converting 600+ Pokemon into 3D meaning they can focus more on the new ones. Another thing os that they said something about making G7s Pokemon designs simpler which looks to be the case so far. Simpler = easier to make. Also it was mentioned that Alola would be full of life so take that as you will. Another thing is a pattern someone noticed. It seems every "odd" generation has a lot of new Pokemon (1,3,5) while even generations have less (2,4,6) meaning G7 may have lots of new Pokemon.

we can see that when Magearna was created it was all gold and red.
As you know Solgaleo and Lunala are getting these new "phases" (new forms) in Sun and Moon,
so what if this is not shiny Magearna but a new "phase" for Magearna?
solgaleo and lunala got phases because theyre based off the sun and moon, and while the sun doesnt have phases in real life, where as the moon does, theres still some correlation. Magearna on the other hand, is a machine and having a "phase" wouldnt make any sense whatsoever. Not to mention that looks exactly like regular magearna but gold and red so thats not a different form. Plus thats confirmed to be her shiny form...
Volcanion is probably gonna have a new form or a mega evolution, look at minute 1:27

Magearna's red/gold coloring is probably going to just be cosmetic. Even in the trailer you posted there is a part that show its past coloring is in the process of fading away and slowly turning into its present day color.
