In all honesty, what the fuck was GameFreak thinking when they green-lit these designs? One is literally a crossbreed between a Pyroar and a Metagross and the other being a rejected Tumblrtale character. Reshiram and Zekrom were better mascots than these two.

The bat is just weird, as someone pointed out it wouldn't physically work in real life. The wings wouldn't bend properly because of the gold at the end. It's stuck in midair. To fly up it would have to stick its face downward where it can't see.

She plays pokemon casually and I noted a few that she likes.

Fix some mediocre pokemon without going crazy or using snowflake abilities.
Mega Sceptile now has Technician for boosted Dragon Breath, Dual Chop, Hidden Power, Aerial Ace, Bullet Seed, etc. Could give him a better niche. Especially if he gets dragon tail.
Maybe balance out his Mega's attacking stats too.

No Guard can hit through Protect and Protect-like moves again
It doesn't make it broken, but it makes him more annoying to deal with especially for toxic-stall fags who would keep using Protect every other turn
If I am allowed more changes:
-20 Sp Atk -> +20 Atk
+20 HP
It's bulk and offensive presence becomes significant again to last more than 2 turns and to net in more KOs

Can't have a BST boost to just one member of the rivalry so:

Conkeldurr's defensive stat and bulk remains superior and they are differentiated a bit in terms of game play
Mega Sceptile's issue isn't it's Mega ability, it's it's regular ability
