In fact, all they're doing is building suspense, which is more interesting than anything. Especially since they blew their loads way too early and showed off 90% of X and Y before they came out.
Where does /vp/ fit on Bartle's taxonomy? I've always liked the Pokemon games for giving a variety of gameplay.
When I first play a game I enjoy exploring the world/seeing new mons. Then I go for the achievements of beating the game, catching all legendaries and filling the dex. Then I sometimes get into competitive a bit.

Hello /vp/. This is just an exercise in theming I've taken, and decided it was neat enough to share here.
With all the speculation on what's gonna be new, what could be changed, what could be added and all that crap going on I decided to take a look at what makes the different types in pokemon be themselves.
I decided to not look at the pokemon themselves because, well, they draw inspiration from way too many sources for way too different results. Instead I decided to take a look specifically at the moves available for each type to see if I could pinpoint...

The types are probably just 18 inherent energies that interact differently with each other, so named for the Pokemon that have them.
Charizard is a dragon, but is not Dragon type because it doesn't have the Dragon energy. Bug type is named for most of its possessors being bugs, but not all Bug types are bugs and not all bugs are Bug type.

1 - MANEUVERABILITY
This is the bread and butter of the flying-type moves as far as I can tell. Most of them have a recurring aesthetic of mobility, aerial superiority and high speed movement in order to nail the enemy but not necessarily anything special aside being 2fast4u. It's all about being able to pull the maneveurs.

I really fucking hate this gopher. It takes no skill to use, all you have to do is switch it in and your problems are over. Why is this allowed?
