These Pokémon exist. They happened. They were allowed to happen. Various people had to look at these, and genuinely say "Yes, okay, this looks fine.".
And the worst part? They are never, ever going to go away. Ever. They will permanently stain the Pokédex until the heat death of the universe. There is nothing anyone can do about it. Neither you nor I can do anything to influence any other outcome. It's going to be in many, MANY Pokémon gamea in the future.
And you will have to look at them. You will be forced to look at them, at some point or another, and you will be reminded of them. There is no way to rid yourself of the memory or knowledge. They will be here. Forever.

Like how can you all say 6th gen was the worst. It had the best graphics, best designs, and mega evolutions, all of which were awesome. And ORAS even had flying.
No matter what Gamefreak cranks out for SM, I know you all will find something to complain about because that's who you are. Maybe if you learned some discipline you wouldn't be so whiney and would like the games for what they are instead of being so critical.

I really want Litten to be Fire/Dark, and Rowlet to remain Grass/Flying. Popplio sounds nice though.

The leaks are real, the Ground and Fighting icons are on the website
However, there is no evidence that they are actually for the starters, they could have just as easily been for pokemon planned to be revealed with them but held off for now.
If the types were already added to the site, its likely they either intended to use them (as said above), or will be using them soon, so just wait a bit before jumping to conclusions.

I'm happy with the leaks since Grass/Ground > Grass/Flying and it would be unique from Torterra if it's a Special Attacker.
I guess pure Fire is a letdown, but if you think about it, Mega Houndoom and a Fire/Dark final evo would overlap too much. I doubt it would be a physical attacker since they gave it that flareball gimmick.
Water/Fighting would be a redemption effort after Samurott.

Just a weird feeling. I feel like GameFreak is going to realize that there are a lot of forgotten Pokemon from Gen II especially. With a volcanic area in Alola, Magcargo could finally get some love.
