I bought a 2ds for 60$ from Nintendo's ebay and oras for 23$. It's fun. I don't see the point of buying older version or emulating it. It just doesn't feel legit.

I got all 721 pokemon in less than a week. Now I shiny hunt for fun. I get like 3 shinies a day.

I'm really considering filtering the word "go", it has got that bad.

I know that the game has only been out for a few days, but it's already have an effect on me. Do any of you guys feel the same way?

I'm having a lot of fun playing Pokemon GO. I really hope that they fix the servers so that the game will be constantly running. I know it's just a mobile game, but it's really making my life better. I hope that they continue to update the game so that we can really catch 'em all.

Getting 'standard thing' on you just to advertise 'I like thing' is pointless anyway, just buy a fucking t-shirt. Not sure why you'd want some unofficial, amateur illustration of a Pokemon on your skin... If you're going to go ahead and mark your skin for the rest of your life at least make it something with a little more behind it then "I played Pokemon when I was 12 and this was the edgiest one"

If you're absoutely new:
Get fire red or leaf green, for the most basic/core experience of the franchise. They're remakes of the originals.

If you want generally good classic (but outdated) experience, try these, which are frequently the favorite amongst most people:
-Emerald
-Platinum
-HeartGold/SoulSilver
-Black2/White2

Any other version other than that is also good, but tends to have more flaws.

If you straight up just want to jump into the wagon of hype, just get the newest games, or wait until Sun/Moon get released
