How much training should be done in a nuzlocke run?
I feel like it kinda beats the point of nuzlocke if you always train them up to a decent level, considering the games aren't that difficult as long as you know weaknesses and etc.
But when I try Platinum nuzlocke without any training it can get tough really fast (looking at you, lv17 Purugly). I do enjoy the challenge, but it's a bit much, I don't know.
What's your opinion?

In order to git gud I tend to keep some def/sp.def raising moves in my mons so they can survive in the big battles.
It's just annoying sometimes losing more than half my team to crits from the same pokemon.

So, it's well-known that the Hoenn soundtracks use a lot of trumpets, and it's pretty much the instrument most associated with that generation.
What are the equivalents of this for the other gens?
None because the other regions have good soundtracks
None, really. Just listen to the Route 201 theme or DPPt Battle theme. You have woodwinds, percussion, and horns. It all kinda has that oddly synth-but-kinda-real-sounding soundfont, though. Gen 5 diversified the soundfont and you get things like Driftveil. You can clearly hear a triangle in the background at certain parts while the overall melody is a kind of horn/woodwind synth. Gen 5 used more synth sounds than instrument-likes so certain songs sound a bit more video-gamey than gen 4, while others are very reminiscent of analog music. Does anyone use the Universal Randomizer? I'm using it on Soul Silver and the pokedex is fucked, it shows the locations as if it wasn't randomized, and getting the national dex doesn't fix it. Does anyone know how to fix it?
