I'm using a ledian for my pokemon crystal team. Any advice on a moveset?
Nevermind I just looked up this guy has no stab at all in gen 2. Shame if like to have been able to use it.

USE IT ANYWAYS. The good thing about Gen 3 and Gen 2 Ledian is that it learns all the elemental punches and it can actually use them despite the absence of the physical special split. It's special stat is much higher than it's attack stat. It was only made worse when the Phys/Spec split was put in place.
Anything is usable in gen 2.
Level it up for the defense moves and teach it Thunder and Ice Punch in Goldenrod City.

It was really quite well done when you consider that it was made for the 3DS at the time, which does have its limitations. At least from character animation alone, it really quite impressed me.
Shed a few tears, don't regret it one bit. His story may have been sudden, but I liked his character because it's not often you meet a 7-foot-tall human in the pokemon world.

Gen VI skipped Wi Fi challenges like Gen IV's Wi Fi room on Battle Tower and Gen V's Wi Fi Train in Battle Subway. Will Alola's Battle Resort/Battle Hotel/Battle Volcano bring it back? It was fun to play against AI-controlled other players sets.
Gen 6 also left out the entirety of the battle frontier, so I doubt it will ever come back.

Indeed it was Gen 5 that removed the Battle Frontier, but they at least replaced it with something cool (PWT). On PWT you can even have Rental Battles and battles with switched Pokémon (I want this to be a facility in case of Battle Frontier's retun)
