Oak has said they train everyday in there
Bulbasaur is sort of a pillar of the community, solving disputes and stuff. Muk plays with Oak and, in doing so, probably prevents him from getting too caught up in his work. Kingler helps around the lab. Snorlax obviously sleeps and eats and we've seen Tauros just generally run around in a herd. The rest probably play, train or do both.

How to progress in PTCGO, tl;dr edition:
>complete all Trainer Challenges
>unlock all locked cards in the three theme decks you're given at the start
>farm Versus Mode theme ladder for Tokens and Tournament Tickets
>enter theme tournaments with tickets and earn tradeable packs and tournament chests (XY Basic Blue strongly recommended)

Your physical cards probably aren't worth shit, but check sites like Trollandtoad, eBay and TCGplayer for the shinier ones to see if you can make a decent 5-10 bucks off them before you ask in the thread. We don't have the prices memorized for every single card.
To see what your PTCGO stuff is worth, look on the PTCGO forums in the trading section. For example, Top Cut Trading inc

Pack codes are worth about 15-30 cents while other codes are worth around a dollar or two.
Remember that if you're doing a TCGO code dump, post them as images and block off the QR codes. This prevents scumbags from scooping up the entire lot with client's QR reader or, in the case of typed codes, copypasting all of them onto the redemption page for themselves. DO NOT put text codes in a pastebin and remove the last character from them just because it's easier for you if you're dumping codes, scumbags have access to scripts that can easily find the missing letter/number.

Immagine the next Pokemon games will have Amiibo support.
How will it work?

Will they do Figures,Cards or both?
i could see them doing Amiibo Figures of both Pokemon and famous trainers/NPCs (released in Waves like in SSB)
The amiibos could unlock special Trainerbattles (possible for a new form of battle frontier) that will get harder after battling them multiple times (kinda like the smash bros amiibos) OR giving you special Pokemon with special attacks and/or good IVs etc.

Holy shit if they released cards for all 722 or w/e Pikemon, especially if they did different forms, my bank account would be fucking WRECKED.
Idk what they'd do. Maybe give you extra dex info or unlock them in your dex as 'captured' if they weren't already. Fuck, I'd be cool if it just gave you that Pokemon, maybe with it's hidden ability or some guaranteed IVs or something.

I'm more supportive of amiibo chips being stored in regular TCG cards, as that's not too expensive to produce (from what I've seen regarding Amiibo figure production), and gives the cards another reason to sell.
I would, however, also be happy with regular figurine amiibos being made for Pokken. Pretty sure I'd go broke if Gardevoir and Suicune got their own official figures.

The type itself isn't the issue. The individual pokemon are typically lacking, and when you see them have proper build they tend to excel.
Plus, while they're not OU, Cofagrigus, Trevanent and Chandelure are OU viable.

Diggersby, because I liked its design when I first saw it, loved when I found out it was Ground, was overjoyed when I found out it had Huge power, and then got a Huge Power Diggersby and wrecked everything with it.

This monster has 90/100/105 bulk with 130/130 offenses.
That's way too physically bulky. That's a max defense of 656, or 472 uninvested.
That's the equivalent of base 218-249 defense.
