“Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.”
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Did someone here succesfuly invoke a demon using Ars Goetia ?
>>17697950
Probably not.
>>17697979
There was that one guy, but he was kind of a twat.
why would someone try to do that
what did he mean by this?
>>17697779
Read Plato's Timaeus
>>17697779
Idk, everyone has different ways of processing information from the subconscious. It's pretty common for people to attribute it to something external.
Like that little kid in the one movie about chess... He says that when he plays chess he imagines tiny ninjas on the board that show him which moves to make.
>>17697779
Tesla often stated he could tap into an astral plane or a dimension where all knowledge existed and credited with some of his discoveries.
Any other scary supernatural encounter stories of God, angels, Demons, etc.?
>>17697766
If he was talking to God wouldn't that mean God didn't abandon him
Such a cheesy pasta
>>17697810
My dad abandoned me but he still calls from time to time to tell me how happy he is...

Your dad is a cunt, and I wish you had somebody better in his place.
Nope thread.
>Spending the night with mentally ill ex SO
>He becomes more unstable with every passing day
>Weird vibes in his mom's house all the time (that's where he was living then.)
>He wakes me up early in the morning getting out of bed to go pee
>Juuust about to drift back to sleep
>BZZZZZZ, loud as fuck out of nowhere
>guitar amp has been switched on

>he runs into the room and switches it back off, acts normal so as not to scare me
>too tired to question it
>go back to sleep, fucked up dreams
2 months later
>his mom has some super old grandfather clock that doesn't work
>she took the pendulum out for some reason, can't remember why.
>clock ticks continuously throughout the day, but the hands never move from 3:20
>chimes every 3 hours
>never works again for my remaining month with SO
Can grandfather clocks do that without the pendulum? I never researched it because I'm lazy, but it spooked me at the time. He and his mom were both unstable. Weird shit happened all the time. I started to speculate that maybe it was all the negative energy manifesting in that house from the constant fighting, drama, etc
>>17697087
Also, he said that when they moved in he found a bunch of old bondage stuff and some creepy mannequins in the attic. This always creeped me out, because a) it was a super nice, typical suburban home in a quiet, upper middle class neighborhood
b) the attic entrance was in his room
I have tons more if anyone is interested.
>>17697166
I'm interested.
What reason do you have for believing in an afterlife?
>>17697073
being afraid of death
>>17697073
Being afraid of a shitty life, which I have right now.
>>17697076
>>17697091
I'm already there with you buddy.
I just feel like I need something more concrete before I can commit myself to believing in life after death.
I mean, I know that's pretty impossible, but I figured I'd get other people's takes on it.
What are some of the best Lovecraftian mythos facts you know?
>>17696211
It's all fiction.
Yuggoth is Pluto...maybe.
God is real and wants to eat us.
i don't know why but I am obsessed with the concept of immortality. I am not afraid of death, I'm just really fascinated with the concept of living forever and/or for a REALLY long time. Do you guys think that science to increase the length of one's life by maybe thousands of years or even more?
>>17696046
*science will make it possible
>>17696046
You would be bored after 200 years, we die for a reason. Eternity is hell.
>>17696046
I believe that reincarnation is the correct theory.
First I need to assume a few things:
The Universe is a completely isolated system, this assumes that the Multiverse is not actually real.
Consciousness is purely a physical property, and once the system allowing it gets destroyed, it gets destroyed as well.
The end state of the Universe is Heat Death, not any other theory.
The Universe will at some point stop it's expansion or otherwise slow it to a negligible point.
If...

I figured out this technique to power up myself and it changes everything. Everybody reacts to me differently, I can change my entire life. I can be the cool popular guy if I want. The problem is that I have been a lonely nerd my whole life and im afraid of the big change. I am able to turn the high energy off easily but its hard to turn it back on afterwards. So I have to commit to it the next time I take the time to actually turn it back on. Since I was kind of a loser my whole life im afraid of the change that will come. Even though it is all going to be 'positive'...

Oh, yes. Keep putting it off long enough and one day you wake up with the realisation that it isn't going to happen this lifetime. You will never be what you thought you wanted to be or could be. You've been sidelined, put on hold to minimise your effect on the world. Now, it's just riding it out and trying to scratch a living until you die.
>>17696027
Bullshit
Its called being a psychopath, you feel warm and fuzzy and people like you, look it up, btw I did that and took the "cool" path and it's not all that good
hey /x/ I have a few questions about sigil magic first how do you charge the sigil? Creation goes something like this iirc
>Write sentence like "I want big dick" on a piece of paper
>Cross all vowels so all i have left is "wnt bg dck"
>Cross all repeating consonants but i dont have any so its still only "wntbgdck"
>Make a sigil out of those letters
>Charge it and then burn it i guess?
