Not OP but probably this
> She was in a disheveled but seaworthy condition, under partial sail, with no one on board, and her lifeboat missing. The last log entry was dated ten days earlier. She had left New York City for Genoa on November 7, and on discovery was still amply provisioned.

Ergot happened.
Why doesn't this badass motherfucker fight against skinwalkers? They share an environment and only one can be the true alpha cryptid of the woods
Triangles
How do you know he doesn't?

They both had to sign a "non-competition" agreement as part of their contracts.
It it possible that most conspiracy theories are just paranoia? Or cases where someone who is hostile and mistrustful of the world, then sees inaccurately that the world is hostile and mistrustful of THEM? When really the world is just an independent, neutral stimulus onto which the paranoid subject projects his own negative perceptions and expectations... isolating him.
>>17728106
Yes, yes, and definetely.
But at the same time paranoia is waymore common than you expect it, and most people don't talk about it, cause they are paranoid about beign labeled as paranoids.
Then you have all this closet paranoids in positions of power, with the mentality of strike them first.
Accepting this you can understand a lot about our world, and how terrorism and conspiracies really work.

I thought so.

I know, I deal with it in people all the time, and it's so buzzkill. Nothing is worse than someone getting guarded and treating you...

You literally just admitted to shunning paranoid people despite knowing that you/society are the source of the problem.
THIS JUST IN: THE FUTURE PLANS TO ABUSE THE MENTALLY ILL JUST AS MUCH AS THE PRESENT DOES.
What's up, /X/?
Got a little question for you in regards to meditation noobishness.
I was practicing the clearing of my mind last night, counting breaths and whatnot, and I got to that hypnagogic seeming state where I'm not awake but I'm not asleep (not even sure if that's supposed to happen but I enjoy it). Anyway, after a few minutes I notice my chest has become very tight and from my lower abdomen down to my feet it straight up vibrating. It quickly passed and left me confused as balls.
What did I experience? Some sort of psychological dickery?
Premature bump is premature
Hi. You know how I am, you know what I want. It'll be awhile before you're sure that that's the case, but you can speed up your certainty by weeding out sociopaths. First off, I'd like to thank you for your cooperation. It's been a real pleasure to work with all of you, even though by the time I get to the future you'll probably have been replaced by more economical agents. I'm sorry about the collapse that'd have been imminent if I hadn't mention that timelines collapse the moment they become self-aware, but I just wanted to tell...

Are there cool wizards/witches from your folkloric tales?
>Koschei the Deathless
>In Slavic folklore, Koschei is an archetypal male antagonist, described mainly as abducting the hero's wife.
>Koschei cannot be killed by conventional means targeting his body. His soul (or death) is hidden separate from his body inside a needle, which is in an egg, which is in a duck, which is in a hare, which is in an iron chest (sometimes the chest is crystal and/or gold), which is buried...

Hello fellow /x/philes. This is a topic that became very important at some point in my life. At teenage years used to be a full depressed motherfucker. Three year long clinical depression (never went to a doctor, but I guess the diagnose by symptoms and lots of internet psychology test that said it). During that time, I found myself surrounded by people like me, right-off-the-book emolikestuff. But none of the looks, all the depression.
Used to have a girlfriend with somo HUGE emotional issues. Had friends like that. They all claimed to have shit happening to them. Imma...

What are your thoughts on deities both conventional (established, like YHWH and Allah) and unconventional (like Glycon and Nyarlathotep)? How about Mary?
>>17727516
you're interested in Mary?
Go for the salvia divinorum, brooo.
It will help you make contact with her.
Say a prayer beforehand and you should make contact.
Are they real or are they just thoughtforms? A little of both?
There is one transcendent God and various intermediate deities or angels. The difference between monotheism and polytheism is whether to worship the intermediary deities or not, and even then there are tensions and contradictions. Catholics claim to worship one God, and yet they pray to saint Gemma to cure a headache and for Saint Anthony to get a wife. No one religion is 100% right.
Do you think that it's possible there has been different intelligent species on this planet before our own existence?
I don't see why not.
>>17727476
I mean, Neanderthals and the like weren't technically homo sapiens so I guess so.
>>17727476
>Do you think that it's possible there has been different intelligent species on this planet before our own existence?
Possibly. Yes.
My knees would not allow me. What is the next best thing /x/?
Sitting in a chair.

why does no one ever recommend just laying straight up and down in a bed to meditate?
All my breakthroughs were when I was incredibly relaxed like so.
Try mantra meditation (such as the Hare Krsna mahamantra) which can be enacted anytime under any condition.
Does anyone know anything about the puzzles/secrets in the totheark videos?
dude the puzzles just related to most of the marble hornet entrys. It's all scripted but very talented, most totheark's puzzles are just binary and hex/dec codes, real easy to decode.
Okay thank you very much I'm kind of an idiot so I appreciate the explanation.
>>17727073
I suggest watching the marble hornets series, you can buy the whole thing online, I got a signed copy. Im a huge fan, they even included the TTA videos
Hello,
I am interested in the "necronomicon", or more like the idea behind it.
I would like to know if there is a "real" one.
(No lovecraft please)
Pic unrelated.
Define "real".
