There was already a dual type move in Gen 6, Flying Press...adding a few more probably wouldn't really change much. Sunsteel Strike is will probably end up Steel/Fire. Maybe the starters will have a signature dual type move too at most...I just don't think they're going to focus too much on it.

Hey, /vp/ I am new to the more competitive style of Pokemon battling. I understand IV and EV training and am now getting used to movesets. My only real trouble is team building.

go look up a guide to teambuilding or find some teambuilding videos so that you can understand the thought process
Play on Pokemon Showdown and use a bunch of teams by looking up the most generic ones and branch out from there, then when you find one that you like stick to it. It's not really that hard

I would love for the games to feature mountain climbing. I'm not talking about following the path up/through a mountain like you do in some regions, but actually climbing the sheer face. I really enjoyed the Skiddo riding and I would love to be able to ride with that fellow everywhere.

Leafgreen. No wild pokemon xp challenge, and no trainer rematches either for that matter. The point was to see whether earlier games really were harder than gen 6 or not. The emerald run was pretty tough and fun, so I decided to try another GBA game.
This time, I let myself cheat a little to version swap for Growlithe. Because of lower levels and generally less XP available I only had enough trainers to level 5 pokemon, especially since all the rare candies and nearly every trainer after and a little before Fuchsia went to Dragonite.
