Orion if you are here can you tell me about something?
Why the people refuse to tell me about my aura?

That depends on your current appearance. There are a lot of ugly trans who regret doing that.
Anyone know what's going on here?
.
Yesterday I was doing a meditation on how the universe is infinite and how it has always existed, and will continue to exist.
But when I thought of this, it started to give me a slight panic attack. To think that there is nothing outside of that infinite-ness gives me a weird claustrophobic feeling that leads to major anxiety.
Has anyone from /x/ contemplated on the thought of infinity like this before? How did it make you feel? Pic unrelated.

All the time.
>How does it make me feel?
It is what it is. You can freak out about all kinds of things but that won't help anything. So you ist watch.
Nothing to do but watch

A few months ago I remember specifically trying to wrap my head around the concept of infinity a few times a day for like a week straight. I felt kinda the same way as OP, it just gave me this kinda choked feeling whenever I thought about it. It was kind of like my brain was on overload and I just couldn't handle it, the fact that the universe and time will just go on and on and on and on and on and so forth. It's strange that we've had a very similar experience, OP.

Some Native Americans believe that when someone in the tribe murders a family member or medicine man kills a family member it unlocks evil powers and the ability to become an animal any animal. ..or from another tribes version they are cursed to wander the forest and absorb the animals and the ability of the animals becoming more and more animal but an abomination of nature all the animals merged into some freak...some versions describe them as shaman or medicine men that have reached some crazy level of enlightenment...

Hey /x/.
I've noticed on the Flight Radar 24 that there is a 'plane' moving VERY erraticly. It has no callsign and it keeps changing directions and speed seriously fast. I think this might be a terrorist hijack or maybe a UFO?
https://www.flightradar24.com/9c1ae15
the hell is going on? that is definitely not right.
>>17708230
Or, it's some guy learning how to fly a plane. Does this even indicate how large the plane is?
If the thing was slowly taking over the earth, how could we know?

But anon, there are no alyums and Satan already rules the world.
>In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

What we need:
>The characters to be cataloged and assigned letters and numbers (arbitrarily)

Anon's hard text-based work can be found at pastebin.com/DwbRwjey for those who prefer to work with text (our current goal) pic related is Reddit's graphical representation for those who prefer to scribble but again our current goal is for these to be converted to letters and arranged precisely as they appear in the book. Various arrangements can be attempted from there.

/x/'s archive will hold them for a month even after the old thread falls off the board. I'm sure they'll be reposted ITT as well (hopefully in the right order)
How does /x/ achieve altered states of consciousness (besides drugs, they are for pussies).
I've only had luck with samatha (samadhi) meditation. I hear sensory deprivation induces crazy obes
>>17704757
Altered states of consciousness brought on by drugs like psychedelics can be the most terrifying experiences that you can have.
People who take them are anything but pusseis. I guess dreams is your next best alternative, that's an altered state of consciousness
>>17704757
Also, if you're really committed, try fasting for as along as you can, with no sleep.
That will get e Dmt flowing.

I've never seen anything sci-fi that's larger scale than a single galaxy. Is It just too difficult to think of? What do you think would be outside our galaxy? What happens at edge of the universe? Is it just a giant circle or something more?
Also /space/ thread
>>17698255
I don't know how to describe as it doesn't make sense. It's like an inside out sphere and once you reach the edge you begin to enter the opposite side. all the edges are actually the center.
>>17698264
what this man/woman says
space is curved so you'll never hit the edge if you go in a straight line, you'll end up where you started eventually
i actually wonder if phasing out of this universe into the container of the multiverse is possible? maybe we're only able to phase into other universes via singularities
i think about what kind of species would be advanced enough to conquer such a feat all the time
Let's talk vampires /x/
Why do they need to suck blood specifically? And why are they considered undead like a zombie?
>>17695679
It's meant to be the drawback/limiter. You gain infinite life, enhanced strength, ect so there are drawbacks to balance it. It's a gift/curse type of thing
>>17695708
In terms of weaknesses, werewolves and zombies have it better.
Blood represents life. Vampires are a symbol for the predatory nature of death and disease. They literally suck the life out of their victims, slowly weakening hem, making them pale and sickly. They are the fear of death personified.
Nowadays, fear is alluring. We don't usually feel it any more and so we seek it. Death is sexy. That's why modern depictions of vampires tend to be so sexual.
I will never understand how people can prefer the Japanese version.
Lol yes the grudge was way better (ringu trilogy suck)
>>17693081
i agree. i saw this version first and thought it was great. then i saw the japanese original and thought it was really unremarkable and not nearly as well made or stylistically cohesive as the american remake. it's rare that a remake is better. this is one of those rare instances.
I like the thing about the volcano. Volcanic islands are scarier in Japan because of their geography.
