Is it common for people interested in the paranormal to believe in both ghosts and aliens, or is belief in one usually incompatible with the other? It seems to me it would depend at what angle you come at one or both of them from. If you think ghosts are a supernatural phenomenon or a product of unknown natural forces, like dimension phasing or some such. On the other hand, some people think of aliens as natural beings with extraordinary science, while others look at them as demons or the like. What do you guys think? Aliens, ghosts, or both, and why?

I've had a couple instances where I've seen silhouettes of people in my house. I haven't seen one for a while now, but I don't think they're gone.
I've had other paranormal instances in my house btw, the most recent being this February.
I've seen three shadow people over my 12 or so years in this house and have had many other paranormal experiences. Each time they show up, they're always there until I blink. After that they don't show up again for a while

I have reoccurring environments in my dreams. Places I like to visit. An amalgamation of my life experiences and what my imagination has added into it. I have to say that the size of this place isn't massive, maybe the size of San Francisco. Somewhere I can easily make on foot in a few hours. This is a place that I lucid dream, and I started going there when I learned to get out of my night terrors. There are people that are always there, and names I know.

Human remains were recently discovered in the fireplace of my grandparents' old home (both died about a decade ago). They appear to be very old, but no forensic work has been done yet. The house was built in in the 19th century and served as a civil war hospital, but it seems unlikely that doctors would hide a body in the fireplace, no? Pretty spooky that my dad grew up there.

Actually happened to me 3 years ago. I can clearly remember obseving my body lying asleep in the bed.
The body and my astral form where connected via a glowing cord which made me realize it wasn't a dream as i previously thought, resulting in me returning to it with impossible speed due to the surprise i experieced.
Ok guys so I've been suffering from sleep paralysis for just over 2 months now (ITT being paralysed after waking up but still dreaming) but I've been freaking out on why I keep seeing the same occurrence around 2:30 - 2:50 EVERY night..

Let me start this out by saying this. I bought this house in October, and it is without a doubt haunted. I have had numerous experiences inside the house, as have many of my guests.
What happened last night though, was strange, and left me visibly shaken.
Around 8pm PST on 26 June 2016, in Western Washington, I was sitting in my bedroom, and looking out into my back yard. My backyard extends about 75-100 feet from my house to the chain link fence.
