Hey there /lit/
I'm thinking alot about buying a kindle, i listen to audiobooks and from time to time i read a paper book.
Would you recommend a kindle? should it be voyage or just paperwhite?

I'm against it. Honestly, I think you should stick with a normal book. I don't see much interesting features out there.
I have a Paperwhite and I can't complain, except that the page turning mechanism (touchscreen) is a bit annoying - it's a bit easy to turn a page back, for that I might spring for a Voyage.

As much as /lit/ will rag on me for saying this, it's substance, which doesn't mean character writing, plot, or even themes, but is a dimension through which a book's inner nature is observable.
The most clear way to explain this would be to think of written works themselves as people and ask yourself if a given piece of writing is someone you'd care to know.
What philosophical limits still remain? By this I mean, what philosophical taboos still exist?

P much all academic meta analysis type stuff I've ever seen as it happens (I'm sure there's a good Latin phrase for that) was not always basic exactly but was not always done with such a deep philosophical understanding if you get what I mean.
Afaik the origin for this type of analysis is Dewey. It's the one where you look at a number of historical cases and make theories like what Chomsky always does?

For the past 5-7 years the only belletristic I've read was BAkker's PoN and Martin's SoFaI. Every time I try to read something else I just drop it at the start because of how amateurish and simplistic it feels, like a teenager's fanfic.
And I literally can't find anything as good as these two. I had shitloads of suggestions, I used special "literature" (sic!) websites that can narrow the suggestions by criteria. I even ventured into the hell itself - lebbit. Same result.

Near as I can tell, she has multiple things for people to hate, so it's like a paella of hatred. There's something in there for everybody. I hate her because I'm a Christian and her way of thinking is basically Satanic, but I know there are lots of atheists that hate her too.

The famous Christian theologian, St Thomas Aquinas ( 1225-1274 ), in his book Summa Theologica gives 5 'proofs' ( quinque viae ) for the existence of God, and the famous Indian philosopher, Udayanacharya ( 12 century ), in his book Nyaya Kusumanjali gives 9 'proofs'.
All these 'proofs' are based on inferences ( which is called 'anumana pramana' in Indian philosophy ), and not on direct perception ( called 'pratyaksha pramana' or revelation ).
