Since the copyright on pic related has now expired, I'm interested in owning a copy for academic/research purposes.
As far as legit, currently available and preferably scholarly copies go, what do you recommend? I'm also interested in an annotated NRSV Bible and annotated Atlas Shrugged with commentary that isn't cucked to hell and back on either.

>Zuzanna M. described herself on her profile as ''insolently young, insolently talented.''
Do you know this young prodigy was already published at the age of 18?

No I don't, and if I lived in Poland I'd kill myself, not my parents.
Still, she is one of the greater edgelords. Of the same caliber of edge as Varg Vikernes, and ahead of Brett Easton.
Bernd?
What book did she write?
Link?
Absolute shit. What's your opinion on this?
>>7663062
Agree. Felt like something a highschool drama student would come up with.

After they explained how they committed their murders I felt as if the ten little Indians poem spoiled everything. By chapter 3 everything was so fucking predictable
Endless Night is my favorite t͏͏b͏͏h.
Would you ever read a book no one else has read or mentioned?
Yeah.

Probably not. I value the social aspect of reading, being able to discuss plot and characters with people like you guys.

Besides the standards of Kierkegaard, Nietzsche and the early Greeks + Rennaisance Humanists, who are philosophers that put the poesy in their work as well?
I nominate as severely under-read, George Santayana

I have no idea, but I saw an RL copy of this thing in a fine bookstore the other day, and I was impressed by the edition. It was about the size of a DVD player. I almost asked the guy to take it off the "pls ask" shelf so I could look at it, but I didn't.
When I got home and looked it up online, it turned out to be one of those things where it was a big deal but kept secret for years until they finally did a wide print a few years ago(?) I don't know much about the culture of psychology...

favourite henry miller?
only read tropic of cancer, was very into it. are his other works just as good?
I read Tropic of capricorn from him. I dont think i ever read something similiar to his style. Nihilistic rants, vulgar language mixed with long, flowery description of "pussy". I really liked it, maybe cause i was 15 or 16 then
>>7660747
His sex scenes are amazing, so vulgar, crude and downright disgusting in a heavenly way. He doesn't have all that much to say but he says it with such authenticity that's applaudable. Raw stuff, unrefined, no class, and that's where the appeal lies. Makes you see how rare it is for a novel to have absolutely no airs about it.
this book makes the life of a jobless whore fucking hobo seem appealing. he writes so honestly about his carefree Paris days you can't help, but feel the delight of living on just bare necessities
What's a book that will really make me feel like I am transcending reality? Something that will make me feel like I am not just sitting alone in my room, but something that will make me feel like nothing around me is really real anymore?

As literature is the bible a good read?
>>7663272
Most part of it, yes.
>>7663272
The King James version is, yes.
I've never read bible myself, but I have transcribed few lectures about bible itself. I would say it's a good read and yes, interesting.
What are some good secondary texts and insights about Parmenides?
The philosophy /lit/ guide suggests this book, which I didn't read yet. But you should be aware that, since it was written by Anglos, I'm certain that it has an analytical bias.
