I saw this guy and looked through his website once before after seeing Roger Ebert on his blog reply to some guys email that said the email writer and his buddy had been arguing about whether Dan Schneider was a better film critic than Roger Ebert, and the guy basically told Ebert that Schneider was the greatest film critic of all time.
I looked on Schneider's website and I couldn't make fucking heads or tails of what the whole thing was about. Please redpill me on Dan Schneider.

I continue to remind people that Pokemon Go is almost 99% a reskin of a previous Nianta project that totally flopped. Without the brand recognition of Google and Pokemon, the product is insipid. What is the best book for teaching yourself latin? I saw this at my local used bookstore, but was reluctant to buy it in case there was something better.
I recall seeing a similar thread where someone mentioned that Wheelcock was a good start, and they mentioned some others as well, but I can't remember who or what or why.

Wheelock is good for grammar.
Lingua Latina is a book written entirely in latin, but the early chapters are latin that's so easy to read anyone could do it. "Italia in Europa est", so on. It gets more complex and introduces authors and poets.

Do think rupi kaur has potential given how young and inexperienced she is as a poet. A refreshing take on modern gender issues. Do not like how it reads like a Tumblr blog and it does spout some of the same trite memes.

real advice:
humanities PhD are horrible prospects from a life and career and financial perspective. people do them if they truly autistically love a certain topic and are OK with making a lot of sacrifices for it.
there are almost no options following a PhD if it isn't from a top school (ivy or equivalent) and it's a hard life even then.
doing a PhD at a local uni in cultural studies because you have no other life plans is a HORRIBLE idea, especially if you don't even know what you want to focus on and need to ask us.
don't throw your life away op do anything else.
