Can someone explain to me why Felica Day is adding pictures of herself to a book she didn't even write?
I just read this, is it good?
Anybody wanna read a short book I wrote and tell me how shitty it is? (it's about 27000 words, but you aint gotta read the whole thing if you don't want to)
well by tell me how shitty it is I mean give me feedback and tell me what you think. Not that it's actually shitty, but rather that if you think it's shitty after reading it then tell me.
Has anyone here read pic related? I am very interested in reading up on the Islamic reformation movements that have been taking place in the past few decades.
Also related, what do you think of the idea that Islam today is at the same place Christianity was back in the middle ages?
Reform? It's called Sunni, Shia, Sufi, Ahmadiyya, Baha'is. All a total and utter failure. Those "moderate" Muslims preaching reform are involved in Taqiyya. Muslims are low IQ people, worshipping a mass murdering pedophile that's deemed perfect and must be emulated as much and as closely as possible. He’s the source of all evil. A source that no muslims is willing to denounce.
The Christians, at least, had Jesus, the Ten Commandments and Martin Luther.
Jesus the hippie > Muhammad the rapist.
¿Best books about pirates?
I just finished Call of Cthulhu. What Lovecraft story should I read next?
I was thinking about becoming a BookTuber who reviews what I actually read (everything from Herodotus to Mishima to Lucian to Highsmith etc) and discusses what I understood of it rather than whether its "good" and then invites commentators (i.e. you) who understand the book better to take part in the conversation and educate me in understanding the books.
What do you think?
Write a blog. I'd rather read your average prose (you read a lot of books so I assume you can write) than look at your ugly face and listen to you blabbering incoherently about the first thing that comes to your mind.
Never heard its mention here, what do you think?
This sucks f︂︂a︂m
Is this actually worth reading or just psuedointellectual trash?
The answer is actually both. Hofstadter introduces a lot of compelling topics in an interesting and insightful way, but his overall theories on everything fall flat. Like, it's a good book to learn about Godel's theorems, topics in computer science, and biology, but his ultimate explanation for how this ties into consciousness or the fabric of the universe or somesuch has little substance. Nonetheless, it's fun.
Australia is the centre of contemporary poetry. Can anyone prove me wrong? Didn't think so
What would be the ONE BOOK you would show to a religious person to make them not religious
Hey /lit/, what's your favorite Brety Stenellis novel?
Can someone help me get info on this book. Can't find anything on the internet about it
