I have a signed, 1 of 1, 22'' x 34'', Digital C-Print of Pepe by Matt Furie which I acquired for $900 in 2008.
How much do you think it's worth now?

who
Is it possible to make thin and neat lines with the Pentel Pocket Brush pen, or is it just not meant for it?
>>2605273
yes it is possible. just barely touch the paper straight from above
>>2605273
My technique is to hold the pen perpendicular to the page and rest my hand on the last joint of my pinky finger to keep the pen a set distance from the page, then lower the pen until the bristles barely touch the page. Then it's just a matter of moving your entire hand along the x and y axis and anticipating how the bristles will bend compared to something like a technical pen. It's doable, but there are better tools for the job if you're looking lay down fine lines of ink.
>>2605287
Yes the thing is with that even with the slightest amount of pressure this goes from not touching the paper at all to the broadest fucking stroke possible
guess I have no choice but to have surgeon like precision desu
>Be me
>Poor as shit
>Bougth a genius mousepen i608x
>Pen doesn't work
>Try to download the last driver
>Pen is very, very sensitive (I could draw in the air literally)
I don't know what to do
>>2604003
I'm pretty sure you can get a better Huion for the same price
>>2604003
Ohgods, I could have warned you about that tablet! It's shit, I've had it (and the smaller model). At first I thought it was fine and I just needed to learn how to use it, but eventually I started suspecting it might not be the case, saved up and bought an Intous 5 (now Intuos Pro) Medium. Man, what a difference! There's nothing you can do to make this tablet good to draw with. Start saving up for something better. Doesn't need to be a Wacom, Huion and some other Chinese brands are pretty decent too. Check the other tablet thread.
>>2604003
adjust the pressure sensitivity
Is it cheating to use a 3D model for sketching bodies?
>>2603981
>that shitty mesh
DELETE THIS
If you enjoy making nothing but shitty, unnatural, deformed, non-dynamic posing and gestures, it's fine
>>2604016
This. At least you'll fix anatomy and perspective issues, but you'll never learn.
post your best!

Is anyone here subscribed to newmastersacademy? I'm thinking of subscring to them and download a bunch of courses but I don't know if its doable. Has anyone done this? If so, how?
>>2602419
They fixed the exploit not too long ago so it's not possible to download the videos.
I did manage to download quite a bit of the courses. If anyone would like to set up a trade let me know.
>>2602423
Are you willing to share anything?
>>2602428
No, trade or no deal.
How often do you draw?
Every day, until im the last one standing.
Recently lost motivation and been depressed so I'm happy if I manage to draw half an hour
>>2602306
I can draw comfortably for at least 4 hours, but i can grind for about 12 hours a day.
I want to be able to casually draw for at least 12 hours daily but i don't think I have the disicipline for that to be enjoyable.
Is anybody else triggered by the amount of blushing or lewdetry in anime? Just look at these young girls. They are clearly not little innocent souls. They lust for a dicking.

I'm trying to get a better grasp on contemporary art. Would anyone be able to tell me-
a few important contemporary artists
a few contemporary art blogs
important art exhibitions
important contemporary critics
do your own homework.
>>2601859
it's not homework..and even if it was it's not exactly easy to find clear answers on these things.
It's better to just study art history from the early 1900s, the first world war, afterwar, second world war, pop art and what we have now, as branches of a tree
Nowadays most of the famous contemporary artists are either con artists and/or involved in money laundry, like those chinese guys
How do I get into costume design for my art and comics?
I know shit about fashion but I need to dress my characters on my next comic and Everything i come up with is lame.
Already tried /fa/ but they could not help me
>>2602949
if you know shit about fashion and everything you come up with is lame, why don't you look at fashion and just copy concepts from there
bump
pls help
Read books about it. Talk to people who do that shit. Look into online courses.

is it important to have a glossy monitor as opposed to matte for digital art stuff
Doesn't matter. An anti-glare coating that's too aggressive will make everything grainy and reduce contrast, but a glossy screen will turn into a mirror if you're sitting close to a window.
>>2601533
this.
most of it is just making sure the room you're in has good lighting, and the spot you're sitting at won't conflict with the monitor of choice.
