That happened to me for a while too. It's why you're supposed to traditionally, and encouraged to practice with a pen/fine-liner from time to time. Digital can make you really sloppy and lazy if you haven't had a reason to build up that confidence and awareness of what you're doing.

So in the panel where the guy is kind of floating - is it wrong because the horizon passes through his neck, and not his face like everyone else? Or is it wrong because his feet are built off a guy's midsection? Both, I'm guessing.
In the panel where he's illustrating "multiple planes" - I'm not gleaning any new info there. Can someone explain these guidelines?
Cuz if I'm right about the floating guy, then I shouldn't use attach midsections to heads. But Loomis is doing it here.
in left-down, the only problem with the background guy is that he's slightly taller than the other guys, altought most probably the error loomis is trying to show is that sombody pretended to draw the 3 guys aligned but fucked it up.
in right-down, can't see shit, but i'm assuming he moved the height over the labeled "measuring line" to show how tall would be the guy, if he wouldn't be over the stairs.

Hey /ic/. I'm working on a project and figured i'd seek your advice, as I'm not the most artistically knowledgeable guy.
I need to take the photo of the coin on the left and convert it into a line drawing in the style of the image on the right. I'm just stumped as to how to go about doing it.
Figured there was some really simple technique or something I'm missing, that maybe you guys could enlighten me on.

That photo looks a little skewed and the light is washing out some details on the top. I'd recommend taking a few more photographs with the camera stationary directly above the coin and a light source coming from different positions. Put the resulting photographs into Photoshop as separate layers (or GIMP if you prefer free software). Adjust brightness and contrast levels to make the details easier to see. Make a new layer for the linework and trace over the photo layers. Multiple photo layers is to give you strong silhouettes across the entire surface of the coin to make tracing the actual shapes easier.

Having problems on trying to wrap my head around tilting and rotating objects inside a box? I been using Krenz's jpegs however, I really need help if anyone can to help understand how I can position the bottom shapes inside the box so I can then learn how to rate stuff in persepctive?.
