How do I get Krita to work? All that happens is a black screen pops up. This is litterly what comes up when I start a new project.

what version you on

and also, you probably just need to toggle the OpenGL option: Settings -> Configure Krita -> Display -> click OpenGL checkbox
>>
>>2520931
They answer this on their FAQ

https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Krita_start_with_a_black_canvas_and_nothing_changes_when_you_try_to_draw.2Fshows_a_black_screen_on_my_Windows_system_with_an_Intel_GPU

>Q:
> Krita start with a black canvas and nothing changes when you try to draw/shows a black screen on my Windows system with an Intel GPU

>A:
>This is a bug in the Intel OpenGL driver. Update to 10.18.14 or later. On Windows 8.0 and 8.1, you might need to manually install the driver. Follow the instructions from the Intel Website. No, we don’t know either why they made installing an updated driver so hard.

>As an alternative turn off OpenGL under Settings → Configure Krita → Display

>Since January 2016 however, we've noticed that the Intel drivers broke again. We hope to fix this issue in Krita 3.0.

In a letter to Theo dated about 5 June 1888 Vincent remarks

>"About staying in the south, even if it’s more expensive — Look, we love Japanese painting, we’ve experienced its influence — all the Impressionists have that in common — [so why not go to Japan], in other words, to what is the equivalent of Japan, the south? So I believe that the future of the new art still lies in the south after all."

A month later he wrote,

>"All my work is based to some extent on Japanese art..."
Opinions on this?

Hello, some programmerfags and me try to design a comlete new generation in Gen3-Style. Map-Design, conversation, chars tec. are quite far, but we need some badass artworks for the starters. So I have a small /r/equest to all the artfags out there. I would be happy as hell, if I could get some nice artworks from you. About the starters: First one is a Grass/Electric-Type (maybe like a scary dead electric tree, but we're open for every sprite). Stats: 40/50/40/65/45/60, so quite a Sweeper, Second one is a Water/Rock-Type. Stats: 50/65/55/40/50/35, so quite a physical Tank. And finally: Fire/Poison-Type. Stats: 45/55/45/65/55/40, in the 3rd evo quite a Sweeper (90/80/90/130/115/95). I would love to see some art! Let the creativity begin! =) )

I had problems with the more sketch like works.
Come to finished paintings the difference is quite distinct.

Waste of $10 but if you like it good for you, it's your bedroom.
>>

If I like it is it really a waste
>>
>>2520624

I like it, but for $10 artist didn't even got a price of his materials back.

I mean, it's nothing special, a color study, but hey, $10 isn't a money and if it looks nice on the wall you made a good deal.

Yeah i know i draw faggot kc green Simpsons shit but whatever i like it.

Any hint to improve in this technique?

Because I'm poor, I use a permanent marker and then add Correction fluid.

Technique? Qhat technique, hatching?

Stop using correctional fluid unless youre spattering, and being poor has nothing to do with being a good artist. You have internet, youre not poor
