I am a creative arts student and i am making an interactive art piece for an exhibition , so i need your help . please comment with anything you think i should have or should not have done , or if you think the story should go in a particular way.

It's literally just some chick with crooked legs and mismatched clothes walking to the door, opening it and closing while the camera man have sobering alcoholic hands and doesn't know anything about shots, zoom or light.
Get a skateboard, a few more friends
Have a shot of her entering the hallway, then an over the shoulder of her looking down the hallway.
Then howabout a shot where we're in front of her moving backwards while she's walking towards us. Stand on a skateboard while a friend -slowly- pulls you down the hallway. Hold the camera as steady as you can, or use a tripod.
When she reaches the door, cut to a shot of her walking up to the door and opening it. Then before she walks in, maybe she looks back down the hallway...looking for something or remembering...

Can I make money producing R34? Does anyone on here do it? I'm in college and could use some side cash but have been resisting "stooping" to this as artists call it. I don't mind erotica but would only do it if it sells. Any tips?

in the long run, probably oils. I run out of oils quickly and canvases arent fucking cheep. the art stoor doesnt sell acrylics where I live, or I just haven't found them, so I've just been too afraid to practice on cardboard.

Her head is a different temperature than the body. This is clearly evident in the thumbnail, where it looks like her head isn't getting enough oxygen.

I0 minute gesture drawing warmup
5 minutes draw something from imagination
10 minutes draw the same thing from reference
5 minutes draw it from imagination
Then usually about 20 minutes or so of either drawing whatever I want or doing exercises from some art book/tutorial.
It's not much but I'm a hobbyist anyway and I've found it helps progress a lot and at the very least gets me drawing when I can't think of anything specific to draw
So tomorrow's my exam to enter art school, it consists of painting, sculpture, and drawing, plus the interview at the end
Im feeling kinda confident since i've been preparing myself for a year+, but still, any advice? (btw i've already taken the exam two previous times but i was like 4 places out)

Good luck anon. My exam was very different and the school was pretty pretentious so my advice might be shit, but profs like seeing a kind of red line go through your works. Maybe a topic you like, a story to tell or similar. Not quite sure what they expect and what the tasks are, but it helps building/showing a personality/passion. Of course also skill matters. But I'll just assume skill isn't the issue.

Well also depends on the school. Mine judgmentally asked whether I liked animu and I had to vaguely say "yes but not tooooo much". Turned out the school wasn't for me as it wasn't skill oriented at all anyway. But I think it's important to stay truthful about your interests whatever they might be, should they ask. They'll notice of you bullshit, too. I think as long as you seem pasionate and open for innovation and learning, you can't do much wrong. Looking up online about other students...

How much time should a beginner spend studying observational drawing before moving on to constructional drawing?

Personally I think they should go hand in hand. Start practicing drawing geometrical shapes from different angles at the same time you try to draw from observation. If you sit and draw a cup, try to draw the rings that form it then erase them and darken the contours. Learning to think in 3D takes building up flexibility in your imagination and I think it's what keeps observational drawings from looking like flat copies.

If by observational art you mean contour drawing then move immediately to constructing things to form. Understanding and breaking things down into shapes and shapes in perspective is much more important than getting the contour.

Every hour of drawing gives you 10 xp, when you have 5000xp you level up to Intermediate Artist. If you buy the skill books you can get a 20% bonus to your XP gain and a bonus feat on one of the fundamentals.
