A clients asked me in an email if I'd be willing to draw black BBC cucking?
Is this a bad idea, is the slope a slippery one?
Don't do anything you'd hate yourself for. If you have to ask the question you probably shouldn't do it.
>>2570903
very slippery, long and hard

Either don't respond or respond, "No thanks, go fuck yourself.".

Can anyone give me ideas on how I can practice my linework digitally? I find it hard not to use my wrist when drawing digital and drawing curves are nearly impossible for me.
>>2567830
just go a day or two without letting your wrist touch the surface of whatever your drawing on. Or you could use a stabilizer. although if you are drawing with your wrists curves should be the easiest thing to do.
>>2567830
> Drawing curves are nearly impossible
First thing to do, draw a circle.
Does it look like a circle?
> Yes
> No
If no, go to the fucking parameters of PS and check Force Proportions.

O wow that made a huge difference for some reason. I have a 1920 by 1080 monitor you think that played a part?

Why west doesn't have hot drawing website like pixiv where many good Japanse artists are posting their works?
As in west, we only settle for selfish SNS like “P-Please follow me and see muh art!”
But SNS is not desinged for posting drawings and running your own site doesn't seem very good.
What is this shit?
Japan, please teach us how to handle drawing culture.

2. you only see good art because pixiv pushes all the good art to the top and hides all the shit art from the general view, making it appear that it's all God's on pixiv.

I changed my painting yesterday. When I first made it years back it was reacting from what was happening at that time. (inb4 fuck you chris) No gallery would show it and I couldn't get my message across. Now I've updated it and it's has changed in meaning and impact. It has a job to do still,

The upper part looks cool, the lower part look too realistic imo
Do I copy the images from the book, or just read and apply it to my art? How is it used?

Bring us your roughs, your storyboards, your pencil tests etc. Talk about industry, schools, the hopelessness of it all, how we all gonna make it etc.
If you're gonna post animation that isn't yours give source or state that it isn't yours.
Keep shitposting to a minimum. Don't feed the trolls.

What are the pros and cons of using black line art vs colored lines? What is the purpose?
>>2563353
colored lines blend in and are useful when you don't want a strong distinction between your rendering and your lines. Black lines usually look better when you use flat colors and shadows and / or heavier inking, where the lineart is the star of the image and rendering, if any, is secondary.
>>2563353
Some art styles only look good with visible and clear lines like mangas or comics. Take comics for example since they're colored, muscle definition and shading is probably one of the most important reason. You can use darker colors for shading but it wont seem as bulky/badass as clear black contours or big black shadows.
Now where colored lines comes in are when you take manga stylization which was created for black and white and decided to paint and render it more realistically. They are used to keep the...

Watch Disney's Sleeping Beauty (easily the best looking Disney movie). See this fish for a very obvious example. The pale blue lines give it a shiny appearance without clashing with the flat color style. The pale outline of the fat king's crown also gives it a shiny look, and contrasts with the faceted crown of the skinny king, reinforcing their rounded vs. angular appearances. Pretty much every scene makes good use of colored lines.

I have this class in college where the teacher decided to make a competition to see who gets more likes on this video we had to make. Take a look and help me win so i can rub it on her face (she's really annoying).

Literally /b/ tier.
Seriously, what are some great artist who have decent tutorials that are worth buying.
Anthony Jones is bottom tier for me, not much content and he's regurgitates the same information with actually going in depth at times when needed.
The only good gumroads I've seen so far are rapoza's. The other stuff is just what used to be on YouTube or perhaps ifx. Not real educational stuff.
You'd be better of plopping down from for one of the full courses out there.
i don't really buy gumroads because

but i might pick up dave's latest one. i don't expect to learn anything but the old daggers streams were always super comfy and motivating
