1/2 things I did yesterday. The closest wing is in fact shorter, because the perspective distortion is too strong. Is it bad to cheat this way? What should I do in principle?
2/2 Started with more realistic colors, then pushed them to make it more interesting. Any crits on colors/composition...? (the lineart will be fixed)

I recently got a Surface Pro 2, but I feel its on board drawing app, Fresh Paint, is kind of lacking. Where are the pens, for example? What other free software is out there that I can use to draw on my Surface?
