How many hours can you hold up physically for drawing? Do you take breaks?
I Tried 5 with 1 hour break today and i'm already fucked. Maybe it's because i draw on a tablet monitor without a stand?
Seriously how do those mangakas survive? (Especially the ones without assistants)
8 hours. I usually take ten minute breaks every hour or so and an hour long meal break.

They sit on the floor like the god damn gooks they are.

Do you use a normal chair? How is placed the paper/monitor where you draw?
How do you deal with intrusive negative memories?
I had a teacher that bullied me in his classes to the point of giving me flashbacks whenever I try to draw. This forced me to have a much more stiff approach to art since I tend to over-intellectualize my decisions while art making instead of letting things flow, and to feel each mistake much more worse than what they really are.
Mistakes are almost unbearable as I tend to remember what that teacher used to tell me, making any practice or study excruciatingly long and stressing. This is also troublesome as it incites...

I don't know anything about psychological hangups like the one you (think you) have
But I'd say practise doing exactly that. Force yourself to do hundreds of <1 minute drawings in your sketchbook. You won't be able to intellectualize anything if you don't have time.
I believe any artist should be doing something like this daily anyway.

Mindfulness meditation. Works for me. You can start with Jon Kabat Zinn's guided meditations.
>tracing is bad
When will this meme be over?

Hey guys,
I'm in need of 3 illustrations for a quirky clothing start-up. Obviously it's a paid job.
Let me know at [email protected]
Pic somehow related, just a file from my inspo folder, but somewhat along these lines would be rad.

How do I start?

Honestly I don't want to learn but I need to be decent.

How do you usually make the bodies of your characters? Do i have to do pic related all the fucking time?
>>2434997
No, people normally find they own way of constructing the body when studying anatomy
>>2434997
Is it difficult for you to do the pic related?
When drawing anything, you would start by roughly outlining the form, no? With a human body this rough sketch would end up with something very much like that
Number 15 is funny

what am i looking at here
>>2427138
I think these are smeared logos because number 2 is obviously the Windows logo but I can't place any of the others, so I guess Windows wins best logo design in this case?
Hey /ic/
i've set up a website to host some of my drawing. its still raw and all of the drawings are pre photoshopped / polished but I'd really appreciate a bit of traffic and a follow on my instagram (if you like my stuff of course).
Attached one of my bits :)

wow
>>2434818
i liked the armored cyborg robot dude. but honestly if you are serious about you need to forget about posting anywhere and making a website, and focus on acquiring actual skill.
>>2434855
The website isn't a place for sales, just for me to stash my stuff and chronicle my journey through it.
Thanks for the feedback on it :)
Help.
Its supposed to be a girl, not a guy with long hair :p. Any constructive criticism is welcome :).

I'm making a game and don't have money for a professional artist, and have no clue how to draw actual art.. I feel like it needs more curves to look girly but I don't know where.
grils have beebies
The standard of industry artwork seems to be rising each month. It's starting to get really insane now with all the asians entering the western market.
The work from people like Djurdjevic (pic related), Android Jones, Wesley Burt or Jason Chan from 2007 wouldn't even be able to compete nowadays. The only reason they're even getting work today is because they made names for themselves pre-2010.
Opinions?
>>2431405
Don't you like challenges anon?
>>2431405
You're dumb. You'd literally have to be retarded to not find work if you had the skill level of Djurdjevic or Wes Burt. 99% of working professionals are worse than they are and are doing just fine.
>>2431407
I do and I know the high standard is pushing my work subconsciously but I also want to be able to earn money and eat something every once in a while.
So I'm a med student. I used to draw all the time as a kid but somewhere I lost the thrill and never picked up back up. Now years later, I'd like to try to get back into art and drawing. In clinics it's best to draw for the patients so they can best understand where doctors will be cutting for surgery or showing them what and where organs are or even combining organs together after removing one like for example pancreaticoduodenectomy. Anyway because of this I've found the will to draw again, I have a couple artist acquaintances and one of them told me to...

You will never find a artist mannequin that has the same proportions or range of motion as the human body. Personally I only use mannequins to help figure out general positioning, general foreshortening, and general blocking/lighting for composition. If you want to study the human form, I would recommend doing studies from photographs and going to nude model sessions at local art workshops/colleges.
If you feel a mannequin will help you, try the Art S. Buck Anatomical Figure.
>>2428713
You are looking to do something very specific from art. You don't need to be a great artist with thorough fundamentals to make quick anatomical sketches for patients. I would suggest instead to just study medical anatomical art. You'll cut down the time you need to spend studying art tenfold, and as a med student, you most certainly do not have the time to go down the same road as your art school friends.

>I have tasted hell
Hey /ic/ I've been really interested in the type of art pictured lately but have no idea what the style of it is called. A simillar artists name is called mcbess if you need more of any idea. Just curious on what the style is if any one knows??
Why has a nutsack been skewered by an arrow?
degenerate faux-tattoo pop trash art . its fucking awful
