I am in such a trash mood.
What do you guys draw to cheer yourself up.
Also any good drawings of boobs that you've done yourself?
I drew some boobs today
>>2477590
Who did this? Wondering if said artists has anymore tutorials like this.
>>2477621
That's a pretty bad boob tutorial.
heres some stuff i'am work on
heres a weird one
Nightmarish.... learn you some colors
I just bought a ton of this on sale for watercolor, but I just found out traditionally vellum is made from tortured and murdered animals.
Can anyone confirm that Borden and Riley vellum 116 is faux, paper vellum and appropriate for vegans?
I think actual vellum wouldn't be in a cheap sketchbook.
Hides are not cheap on itself, add the manufacturing costs to that.
>>2477297
yea that's what i figured, probably so obvious their website doesn't bother to say, and I'm an idiot for freaking out and throwing half of it away already
>>2477305
Doesn't take away that you're being incredibly sensitive.
Hi! The guy asking for critique on the eye he made, yesterday, is back. Please dont hold back.
no spark
>>2476900
Proberbly not. Sorry to dissapoint.
Draw 50 eyes instead of focusing on one and then coming here for critique on your one eye.
Looks like the old thread is toast, get in here comic fags.
Latest page, I'm going to shoot for putting out pages weekly again, I really need to get in the groove.
really diggin your stuff OP
>>2474863
Thanks m8, glad to hear it.
Crit is always welcome as usual.

What supplies are a must.
Git gud and lurk more before you spend anything you poorfag
>>2474336
pencil & paper.
use the rest of the money for scanning at a copy shop and a steak.
>>2474336
Depends, what kind of comics are you doing? Manga, for instance, typically, use G-pens, and that uses certain paper and shit, but western comics are a lot more lax with the expected materials you use. Really, whatever you're comfortable using, and if there's a certain style you want to pull off, just look for the big names making those comics and see their materials list.
>fountain pens don't work well on rough heavy paper
>watercolor works better on rough heavy watercolor paper
Am I missing something? What paper should I be using if I want to do washes over fountain pen drawings?
>>2473009
Mid range paper.
If that compromise isn't acceptable, then you'll have to accept certain mediums need to give or take something in order to work together.
Just don't use very rough paper?
Most cold press should be totally ok even if you're using fine nibs. Grab hot press if in doubt.
>>2473009
fountain pen ink is not waterproof
you can use hot press watercolor paper
/ic/, how do you stay motivated to work on your art?
I just do it as a hobby but whenever I want to I just cant bring myself to put the pen on the paper/tablet. I enjoy doing it, but have a hard time starting.
10 minute gesture drawing warm-up, then 5 minutes of drawing something from imagination, 10 minutes of drawing the same thing from reference and 5 more minutes from imagination. Usually after that I'm pretty fired up and draw whatever I want or if I still can't think of anything I'll watch ctrl paint or proko or read some kind of art book to work on things I'm bad at and learn something new
>>2476453
100 gesture drawing
100 value exercises
100 studies
10h imaginative drawing
every single day

Where do you fit your job, family responsibilities, social life, and personal health?
Thoughts/ critique?
I know I'm not amazing, so be gentle.
it seems like you should practice basics more,
not a fan of the style
the head is huge and alien-like but yeah keep going but id start blocking things out before anything
>>2476754
What basics would you say?
>>2476761
literally simple realistic figure drawing,
you must be able to find tutorials, its not that its bad i just think youd be drawing better work if your fundementals were stronger
I am looking for an artist for a project I am working on. At first, you will just draw characters from Square Enix Games, but I do have some originals as well. To start off, I want someone to draw Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series. I do ask that you leave an email address so I may contact you if I like the artwork. Something along the lines of this image, but at the same time makes him look bad ass.
Is this paid?
That will be discussed in more detail of I like the work, but most likely yes.
>>2476480
What kind of thing is it? A visual novel/dating sim?
Post studies done by painters of their most well known masterpieces.
Like davinci's last supper and shit. I know some of you must have a bunch saved in a neat little folder somewhere.
>>2470769
Those dumb fucking winged rats have no sense of self preservation. I feigned a kick at one the other day and it didn't even try to fly away it just walked. How do these dirty fuckers even survive?
>>2471012
They're too smart to not now know a fag like you is not going to kick them.
>>2471032
Yeah that's why they are getting run over left and right by cars right? They just fucking stand there and are too lazy to fucking fly. I bet the jews did this.
Lets start a tagging/graffiti general thread, for those artists who are into it.
Please respect all art forms, there's no real "rules" to what is really considered art
try /gd/ honestly
>>2476367
you don't spray paint on a computer, weeb
>>2476368
oh really? then explain THIS tacky piece of shit i found by GISing "graffiti computer case" for the sole purpose of saving and then posting this picture for this post
Thoughts?
http://www.moleskine.com/microsites/smartwritingset
A silly gimmick that will bankrupt Moleskine
>>2476779
The main reason to work digitally is ease of undoing and adjusting things. If you're using real paper you lose this. There's no benefit over working traditionally then scanning.
>>2476793

you must to kill yourself my esse
