What can ruin your career as an artist?
I've been involved in some "community" drama where I post my stuff. I popped off to some people starting shit with me and basically if anyone was so inclined they could find this dirt and make "callout" posts about me on social media.
How fucked am I? Do people stop caring eventually? This was last year but I did overhear people still gossiping about me, even telling fans to "avoid me at all costs".

Favourite pieces in your local gallery?

Hi dudes. I want to get as much attention around my work as i can, but i don't know what i should do. I know my skill lvl is better than alot of stuff that's getting alot more attention, but i don't know what to do in order to create some buzz around my stuff.
The main reason my work isn't that popular is because it's mostly gritty and dark stuff that most pple can't relate to i think. Should i just start doing alot of fanart and stuff so i can start earning atleast some money from it?

Honestly these videos scare the shit out of me, even though they don't mean much now, but could mean a lot in the long term.
I'm scared that some day you will be able to make drawing easier, painting's already been made easier with the digital age, but you can't fool drawing. And what if in the near future someone with little to no knowledge will be able to feed specifications into a computer and get exactly the artwork he imagined? rip
Do you tend to have a hard time drawing in perspective? For some reason im able to do this kind of drawings pretty easily.
Anyone who has half a brain can do basic perspective. Its literally just lines. I guess it would only be a problem for women and minorities, but even then you'd have to be pretty retarded on the bell curve.

Be glad it's not the other way around.
Either you actually suck and people are just polite, or you suffer from the artist's curse. Either way, if you keep working through it you'll be fine. The ones who suck the most are the people who never realise how shit they are.

Your art teacher is a nobody artist that nobody has heard of 95 percent of the time.
Even small local art galleries probably don't know who they are
When they give you advice on how to make your art appealing remember that they probably wouldn't be teaching if they knew how to be successful as an artist.
