Are you trying to fetch ideas for your own essay, or is it a data gathering project?

If it's the first, come on, man; it's not that hard to put yourself into someone else's (your idealized character) shoes, just keep trying and don't be a lazy fuck.

im more than willing to pay but 225 sounds step is that really the going rate?

Mediocre artist here. Spent years in an art course that barely helped me in my studies. Graduated with so-so skills. I'm miserable as fuck as I just turned 26 while great people younger than me are improving and getting to places. I regret spending 2-4 years of my life being miserable and I know that continuing this wouldn't be beneficial to me. I have no one else to blame but myself and I want to get over this...

How should I start again? Is it too hopeless? Too late? I know it's not my blog guys, just wanted to hear some sound advice I guess.

Hey all

I’m selling a very rare pepe indeed, it’s one of a kind David Bowie Black Star Tribute Pepe. It is hand drawn in pen and colour pencil and displayed in a handmade frame.

This pepe is strictly one of one. It hasn’t been scanned or copied in anyway. It’s the only one in the world, and a real collector’s item.

The pepe comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist and displayed in a handmade frame. Rest assured, you’ll be buying a genuine work of art.

A word on the price, yes, it’s high. But pepes’ don’t come any rarer than this. And half of the proceeds will be going to “Keep A Child Alive” charity, of which David was a longtime supporter. So, you’ll be buying a work of art and making the world a better place, which should make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Once the pepe is sold, the buyer will be interviewed as part of a film documentary titled “Ask Me About My Rare Documentary”. The buyer will be immortalised on film talking about their love of David Bowie’s music and owning the world’s rarest pepe. Super great, right!

Please, please, please, spread the word so this pepe finds a great home and takes pride of place wherever it is displayed.

Best regards

Tom

Looks like your pretty standard angel cherub sculpture. Considering its wear/lack of preservation, dirtiness, and the fact it's outdoors, it's probably part of a graveyard.

The photographer is Sara Zinelli. Found it via reverse image search where she's selling it as a stock photo on gettyimages:

http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/photo/statue-of-angel-close-up-high-res-stock-photography/200571314-001

Here it is on her website:

I can't really make out what the page says. You can either try to find the article online or contact her directly to ask.

In other words this is pretty standard sculpturing? Or at least to an extent?

Rate my pure vector illustration guys. I consider this my best "work" so far - please keep in mind that i picked up illustrator in November.

And i also have a non-related day job, so i spent roughly 2-3-4 hrs/day practicing and learning Illustrator.

hmm i only saw actual drawings there so i didn't think a vector image would fit, but ok..thanks anon

Wasn't entirely sure were to post this so feel free to redirect me if needed, thanks.

So i have had a hobby since the tender age of 13... making Transformer designs on word using shapes. I have come a loong way from my original process of creating them and now im a wee bit more comfortable sharing them here on 4chan. First up will be three recent designs and if you guys like them I'll share more.

Thank you for your time.

I just got this customized portfolio for my book because I treat my work like a future artifact.

How do the anons here care for their supplies and work?

Do you treat them with respect or do you treat them like whatever?

I posted my main tools though, the one I use above all of them is the Marsmatic 700. I got the case just for the Marsmatic, the Esterbrook and Koh-I-Noor were featured guests.

OK faggots, does anyone know the dude who drew this? I've seen tons of shit here with his style being fairly recognizable. I assume it's someone recognizable.

Has /ic/ always been this shitty?
Recently I've noticed that the quality of the sticky has been lower than what I remembered but I'm sure it hasn't changed
I feel like the overall quality of art posted is lower too
And the amount of shitposting
Something really needs to be done to stop this board from becoming like the other mainstream shitposting boards on this site
Look at /po/ do you see such shitposting there? we're /ic/ we should be better than this

I think there should be a way to stop people posting unless they've somehow proved they've read through sticky properly

I was wondering which is better for a beginner? Betty Edwards "Drawing on the Right Side if the Brain" or Claire Garcia "Drawing for the Absolute and Utter Beginner".

I ask because i hear Betty's book can be long winded or such with 400+ pages but Claires book is much shorter? Is there much difference between the two? Should i study both or pick one?

drawing on the right side of the meme is just someone rambling on about pseudo science.
>>
Get some Loomis in ya
>>
>>2391746
Nose bro, love ya senpai but that's only partly correct.

Drawing on the right side of the senpai does have exercises that teach the total beginner how to perceive their surroundings and draw exactly what they see.
If you don't even know where to start, that book is a cheap way to get you going in the right direction.
Leading up to books like Loomis of course.
