Is there a brush setting you guys like using thats good for general blending and digital painting? Photoshop gives me like, a bazillion different brushes and they all do different shit. I only need 5 at the minimum.

Often when I see people recording their sketchbook for videos or posting pages on Instagram, it always seems like every page is a beautiful, crisp, clean illustration. Whereas my sketchbook is a mess of just practicing, abandoned pages, and downright awful drawings.
How the hell do people manage to draw so nice and neat consistently in their sketchbooks? Should I be drawing slower and trying to make every page presentable for practice, or keep going with rough studies? I feel like none of my sketchbooks are presentable in any way.
For things like this, the "sketchbook" is often the final work, and they have secret, actual sketchbooks that are just as messy as yours.
Because there are "sketchbooks" and then theres sketchbooks.

your best off posting in either the beginner or stylization thread friend. Making your own thread soley for just one picture can be seen as rude, since it gives off the feeling of "I'm better than everyone in those threads, I need my own focus". you see, i love comic books and cartoons and i love drawing, because i want to make comics and cartoon, but my problem is that even though i love drawing, my art is (for example) not as good as the girl who draws sonic and invader zim yaoi in my classroom.
so buy how to draw books and download pdf's. and i just can't find anything helpful, they just stress me out when they mention different types of pencils and brain hurting exercises, so i just quit and draw out of depression,...

The only person you should be competing with is yourself. Be better then you were yesterday. Stay focused. As far as pencils "H" pencils are "hard lead (graphite)" for crisp lines etc. "B" pencils are "soft lead" for shading. My advice to you is find something you like to draw and draw it. Don't be afraid to change mediums. Also start learning anatomy structure. Draw a skull 100 x. Practice technique and skill but also have a fun project to keep you motivated. Also... Do...

the very first step is to develop a love of drawing. get yourself accustomed to drawing every day, no matter what it is. dont worry if your drawing sucks, draw to make yourself happy. once you do this, channel that love of drawing into technical skill by using resources from pdfs ect. this way you will have a more positive association with how you improve, and you'll be sure to do it consistently

I am a celebrity faker and would like to spread my work by uploading it to some big celebrity fakes sits. The biggest I know of is cfake.com but I already uploaded my fakes (which honestly are pretty good and high quality since I am a graphic designer) are nevertheless mostly not getting released on their site. Only one or two of my roughly over 15 uploaded images are getting released.
So my question: do you know any other big celebrity fake sites that are less pricky than cfake.com and that would help me get my work to more people?
