Anyone know what's going on?
GET ON THE GROUND, FUCKO! SQUAD, CONFISCATE THEIR TABLETS AND ALL OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
It just kinda happens every once in a while. Eventually it will go back up. Patience, love.

Cool. I haven't used it in awhile so I thought it might be kill since people here post the link a little too freely.
Is it such the way to make a problem for rent? b

>tfw no QT 3.14 Baroque artist gf
Do you think it's worth doing lewd loli commissions to pay the bills?
I do NSFW stuff that falls into the "normal" range, and I do get a few commissions a month but I'm at the point where I feel like I can't afford to say no to someone who wants a loli piece. I don't have anything against loli personally I'm just concerned about whether or not it could come back and haunt me in the future. I'm leaning towards it not being worth it, but maybe I'm overly paranoid.
>>2489426
All you have to do is call it a 400 year old succubus/demon/vampire whatever and remember loli is a body type not an age group :^)
>>2489426
That doesn't even look like a loli. Just a thin 18 year old girl that's been shift scaled down in size.
Like the body is loli, but the face looks twenty-thirty. Too sleek and sophisticated.
>>2489426
how exactly do you get commisioned do you get contacted in email by people asking to draw you shit? Do they even pay in advance or what? What if you draw them there shit and they dont pay?
New York based painter and illustrator Mike Perry is an artist working in a variety of mediums, once describing his collection of works as having an “antsy” energy. He doodles around the clock, whether creating new typefaces for his graphic design work or new burst of colorful characters that amass in his paintings. At his website, he writes that his creative goal is “to conjure that feeling of soul-soaring wonder you have when you stare into distant galaxies on a dark night, when you go on long journeys into the imagination, when you ponder what it is that this life is...

sounds about right
>>2495665
I see so many of these "artists" in the New York times and I really have to wonder if they can actually draw or if they just got famous from connections and not being afraid to glue a bunch of shit together and call it art.

How much work is art school actually? And what art schools are just looking for warm paying bodies
My mom wants me to do something other than NEET after I've spent a few years out of high school ostensibly working on my portfolio and I have nothing else I'd want to do so I might as well go because we're wealthy and she's footing the bill, but I really don't want to put in the work, and if we were really honest with each other we'd just admit that family money will be funding my lifestyle for the rest of my life and I'll never actually...

You know I was going to give you some advice, but your post just filled me with contempt.
I almost suspect this is trolling, but I'll answer the question anyway.
Art School is exactly as hard as you make it. If you want to do the bare minimum of work you can probably pass all your classes and graduate without much difficulty, but you'll never make it as a professional and your degree will just collect dust.
Since that seems to be your goal, you should go apologize to your mother for wanting to waste her money like that.
>practices maybe half an hour each week
>has no intention of changing
>wants to be an Artist
>>2494434
No, see. They don't want to be an artist. They want to slack their way through school so they can convince their mother that they're doing something, anything with their lives.
Why don't you go to school of visual arts in NY, OP, if you're hell bent on this ridiculous course of life? My roommate went there, and he says that they'll let anyone in.
But, they actually have talented and experienced teachers there, so if you change your mind and actually feel like doing something...

I am becoming 27 in a month and I've barely picked up a pen since I was in elementary school. I can't afford fancy wacom tablets, I have depression, I need to get a job or start school, I should deal with my weight and stillborn social life, and I have little motivation.
All I want to do is draw porn and design characters. Is it too late for me?
You think random strangers on the internet can make your life decisions for you better than you can?
>>2488613
never too late, brah, and all you need is the cheapest pencil and paper you can find, but usually when people are depressed failures they tend not to stick with anything so I don't know if you should bother if you aren't concerned with improving anything else about your life.

More Loomis(?

I understand that was mad in "your style" but at least gave her 5 fingers on hand. Personally i think that its beyond hideous but if you manage to find someone willing to pay for it its good if not its bad.
Found these while looking for soundtracks to listen to. Apparently they were printed in the booklet for the OST release. The game is Threads of Fate by Squaresoft.

Cum/sperm/jizz/man juice/seed whatever you call it. How do you draw it and color it?
I hate this board.
You go on the right thread and ask.

>Not wanting to learn how to draw cum
You're not going to make it.
>Reading Loomis
>all cis
>no POC
>chapter on women comes after chapter on men
Is there someone who does heads who isn't patriarchal cis scum? Or at the very least isn't stuck on drawing idealized shit from the 1950s?

Piece Of Crap?

I made some prints recently

heres a gondola
i only draw in mspaint
so this is what I am doing with my life now
/ic/, can any of you explain this adult coloring book trend??
It completely confounds me. People compare it to scrapbooking or knitting or other lightweight creative pursuits for stress relief, but at least those produce a product that you can use or show off. A complete coloring book is just a used coloring book. It's not like you can display it or do anything overly creative with it. It seems like a pure waste of time and energy.
Is it because I'm a creative person who can draw my own shit that makes it impossible for me to understand the value of...

if they were selling because parents wanted to do something together with children it'd still make sense
instead it feels like some twisted form of nostalgia/borderline autism
>>2488113
It's useful for psychotherapy. People who are into it would just get stressed out from drawing thereby defeating the purpose of it.
>>2488113
i like to color my own graphite/ink drawings, its fun
but i wouldnt buy a faggy book with predrawn lines

This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make stylized works in-between their studies. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.

Progress.
She's more or less done. Now I just gotta work out the hands, the butterflies, and paint the martian landscape in the background. As well as perhaps outline the chains.
I wonder if it perhaps looks a bit disjointed. I didn't intend to have a background. At first I simply wanted to have her with a magic circle behind her, but then that felt a bit dull, so I decided to add the overhead landscape, and the more and more ideas kept piling on.
>>2487917
The hands going for the chains are dope, I think you should add more, and remove the rest, since it feels like a little bit too much.
Testing, do my posts even post...
