Don't know if this is the right place to ask but what art style is this?
>MUH STYLE
>>2332761
look like the same style drawing from many old ink drawings in history that are becoming popular again in advertisement(graphic design).
>>2332761
In the tattoo world it's just called black work falling in line with neo traditional. In the art world it would probably be just considered as ink illustration.
Holy shit anons I figured out why we're all still single
>Draws qt cartoon grills because we feel lonely

should i go to collage for animation and 3d modeling or learn it on my own?
>>2335497
go to youtube before you waste your money. If you're even asking that question; Don't.
>>2335497
Depends, some people can be self taught. Other people learn better from an instructor.
Can you teach your self? Try it out if don't know, it only will cost some time. If you are getting nowhere try the other route before you commit to a full course. You can hire an instructor or attend a class or two to see if you like it and progress better.
>>2335497
depends on how motivated you are, considering you made this post, you probably aren't motivated enough. To get really good on your own you'd have to be someone who goes after it no matter what
Hey, /ic/. Do what you do best and tear this apart.

Post your current drawing here and give constructive critique to others!
Please make sure your posted image is clear, downsized to around 1000 pixels wide, rotated to the correct orientation, and that any unused space is cropped.
If you want critique on a drawing from the previous thread, you can delete it there and repost in this one.

How do i get used to this?
I been trying for months to get in but i feel very uncomfortable when using it and lose my patience real fast.
Any advice?
>>2329765
It feels weird at first but just keep using it and get used to the program your using to make art, keep practicing!
If you're that picky with your equipment, you should have gotten those Cintiq LCD drawing tablets in the first place. Or should have stayed loyal to cheap pen and printer paper.
>>2329765
use a software with actual fast rotation like paint tool sai , painter
or PS with open 3d
this is for actual lineart brushing is more approachable
>>anyone know how to color like this?
>>do you have a pdf file for this ?
pretty sure there's wips and steps on his facebook

Its funny how so many people think coloring is only a matter of getting that magic paint by the numbers formula.
What do you think?, what senses promove etc, please dont be rudes

better than you are now op but you don't have to be a master by any means. a lot of them hide their lack of anatomical knowledge by having flashy paintings, which a lot of people are impressed by but anyone with a trained eye for drawing and painting can spot style over substance

Is it possible to be better at drawing digitally than drawing the traditional way?
Everytime I draw something on plain paper, it feels I cant get anything right, but when I switch to a tablet or such, everything improves by a mile, or is it just that there is so much tools at your disposal when drawing digitally, that makes it feel better?
Also, the sheer ability to CTRL + Z each error is just too good
>Is it possible to be better at drawing digitally than drawing the traditional way?
Not only possible but common.
It's easier to produce a good finished piece digitally because you can fix and polish it as much as you want without 'ruining' it. That is, nothing you do is irreversible (although sometimes it can take so long to fix you may as well scrap it).
I still think it's easier to sketch traditionally though. If only in terms of control and precision.
Yes, but that's not a rule, I've seen some artists actually do better with traditional media than digital, so I think once you get the knowledge, the medium is another tool and each tool has its own advantages.
One thing that helps tradicional media is that the textures, color blending and other things, are a inherent to it and it can add a lot to the expression of your art. Most beginner digital artist suffer from having a rather artificial and plastic look in their paintings, so it also takes a while to use digital media in really interesting way.Comment too long. -If someone is RUDE tell them to not expect much from an hour's work.
-Posting WIP's, studies, "doodles", and random sketches are highly encouraged.
-The art must be fresh. Like you just drew it in the past hour.
-Go fast

I feel like 100 posts about this will be made especially once the new year starts. Should we just get a thread for this so that we can keep it in one spot but also have some sort of way of tracking progress with one another? Could call it year long fundamentals thread or something like that but I doubt images of the perspective course will be exciting and not many people will stick through even that.
I'm now at term 2. Completely fucked up in term1, cuz i was a lazy shit, but now I adjusted it to my likings more.
Gonna have a one month term of manmade objects after this term. Tbh term 1 was just getting the right mindset for me
