So I had my first "Hey let's draw something other than penises and trees on the side of my class notes!" session in about 5 years.
Did I do okay? Obviously there is an absurdly large amount of improvement needed but I feel like I did better than I expected.
I struggled with eye placement, I moved them around like 4 times. The ear gave me some trouble, and overall I'll sure there's some facial structure stuff that I'm not seeing that needs to be fixed.
Any standout stuff I should work on and study?

do more of those exercises where you just draw a dimensional blob-shape, and then turn it 3 dimensional by adding simple values.

How do you feel about the fact that 4chan users have been leaning to the right for years now and as such have developed a taste for fine art, all while dismissing modern art?
Do you think a resurgence of classicism would benefit the art world, which has by now deconstructed every possible aspect of art? Do you think there is more to explore within abstract concepts that are still popular today or are they the boring establishment that once was the classical artist?

Maybe some. I mean, some good artists today, especially ones that make primarily environments use very abstract shapes as a base for their stuff. But straight up piles of garbage that janitors accidentally throw away at museums. That need to fucking go.

I don't know. I've posted this pic on few sites, including deviantart, facebook group, art forum and i was asking for a critique with absolutely no response. Now i know that if you're not active on deviantart and your art is not super good, you won't get much attention, but that shouldn't apply for the FB group and for the forum.

If you have then maybe you flew over clouds. To some people this looks like a sea. A sea of clouds. Now in a regular sea whats the biggest creature not counting the scary giant squid? That's right. A whale. of course in our world we dont have whales in the sky but this is a fantasy setting. Form is essentially how light interacts with an object in space to create the illusion of structure and shape, this then occupies that space with a 3 Dimensional object. This object can be anything from a cube to a complex warhammer character. The principle is still exactly the same, cubes, spheres etc make up the entirety of the complexity in the warhammer character.

I think separating the draw thread even more is the worst decision that has ever come to /ic/ since the appearance of stylization thread. Nevertheless the only way to win against you tyrants is to come into a thread and conquer everybody, only to unite again. I will do my best to do so.
I've made that art based on Chloe's tattoo from Life is Strange.
That game is very special for me. And I have a admiration for deers and crows, so i've created this version. I want to tattoo it on my arm, i'll ask the tattooer to fix the colors, put some shadows and stuffs..
