WISE FWOM YO GWAVEwhat's the point of the bear form's spin jump?
>>3343513
The forms are designed to fight the stage boss.
>>3343539
I didn't get much mileage out of the bear, where the wolf and dragon kicked ass on their respective bosses.
This game sucks
>stage 3 have the least amount of sub-stages

Platform games will have an underwater stage at some point.

Prove Leaf isn't one of, if not the, best lords in the series.
Protip: You can't.
>>3342994
Yes, she's the bestretrolord.
>>3343153
Ike's a good unit. I never really thought of him as too good of a lord, though. Gameplay wise, he's a beast. In terms of personality...he's kinda bland from what I'm seeing in PoR
Mulletlord is best
>how you want your weapons?
>just fuck my iron up
Why did non-magic weapons all break right before a big fight every time? Did any other game have such fragile shit?
>>3342826
It was part of the plot, didn't you play the main questline?
>>3343256
I did, weapons just always seemed to break all at once and always when I needed the most. It was pretty amusing.
>>3342826
Because the iron was being sabotaged with chemicals. Did you even go to Nashkel Mines?
I just spent $220 on this lot of old games and systems. I was mostly interested in the Atari 7800 but the other stuff is a sort-of bonus.
None of them are confirmed to be working but I'm a gambling man and tinkering around with a bunch of old stuff is going to be pretty dope.
Do you guys think I got a decent deal?

What is the best game store in NYC that sells retro games?
Videogamesnewyork? J & L Game? 8 Bit And Up Video Games?
>>3342281
go out onto long island. manhattan is rape. i went to one out in miller's place i forget the name of with legit prices. got a master system there for $60. mgs collection on ps2 for like $20.
>>3342310
What this guy said. I hate the place in OP's picture. They're fucking gougers.
>>3342281
Pic related. Not all that great, but better than Manhattan prices even though that's not saying much. The guy who runs it is pretty cool and its in the middle of Bay Ridge/Bensonhurst. R Train stops like two blocks away. My friend got a Master System there for 70 with all the hook ups and like three games.
>>3342328
j&l told me 200 for a master system with 1 controller and no games. almost laughed right in his face but instead just said "holy fuck" and left the store.
What are some bad retro games that still get ported to modern systems?
Pic related.
thats not a bad game though...

do these look like your average chinese soap repros or do they look like quality ones?
I got them all for $100 and i woulve never ever pay what the original carts for these games go for so...
anyways... just wanting to know if these would be long lasting or disintegrate in 6 months.
Better get those out of the sun dude. But they're better than the glop-tops that are 99% of chinese NES/Famicom carts.
You could've gotten an Everdrive for half that, why?
>>3341648
Those aren't Chinese. Those use a cart creation PCB from Mortoff Games. Chinese ones use way cheaper boards.
How come there's NES-fans that are so overattached to the NES and it's big-ass cartridges? I mean, it's basically an inferior Famicom.
>>3341462
Because they look cool.
>>3341478
They don't just look cool. They're RADICAL.
Famicoms have hard wired controllers and are RF only.
Anyone wants to share his fav multi-vehicle simulators?

That series of games was ahead of its time, it WAS designed to be multi-player. Unfortunately, you could only play with your pal via null-modem cable only.
"Birds of Prey" by Electronic Arts (now EA Games).
Planes only, but choice is HUGE!

Is it possible to replace the CPU and PPU in an American top-loader NES or AV Famicom with the CPU and PPU from a PAL NES? There's no toploader version of the PAL NES, and this would be very usable to play games developed by European companies, since the PAL-version was usually better then.
>PALShit
>ruining NTSC for PALShit
Have you considered sucking on an exhaust pipe instead?

It's like you have no idea what you are talking about, but you have a soldering iron. This will not end well for you. You need to also replace the...
>since the PAL-version was usually better then.
Oh, a region-war thread. Go fuck yourself.
Sure, go for it OP.
Make sure to clean the circuit board with a solution of one part ammonia and one part bleach before you desolder anything though.
