The bgm to Tidal Surge always reminded me of like, any song by Ace of Base.
Started this game for the first time the other day. My party is Duran(MC), Ries and Angela. Did I do good?
Also any tips I should know? I just got Angela and so far the battles felt really simple.
Literally any 3 character combination is fine.
You'll want avoid redundancy when you choose their various dark/light paths (you'll want light Duran, probably, because elemental sabers AND angela is a bit overkill)
I'd avoid shopping at the night bazaar in Beyzel(?). It essentially gives you the spells of ALL the characters which can easily break the game and make your class choices far less meaningful.
The battles are pretty simple, yeah. There's no like... level 6 weapon charging like in secret of mana.

Usually these kind of stuff are really expensive, no? But yeah I don't want to break the game so I'll avoid it.

It was on my evolution disc. It's a pretty nice novelty to play VF4EVO with VF2 models plus the new models they made for the characters that came after. Also Final Tuned nerfed the fuck out of Wolf.

Death Adders shield. Fuck the Golden Axe itself, it doesn't even appear in most games, but Death Adders dragon shield is awesome.

Discussion/playing of BattleZone 2 and its mods.
BattleZone 2 is a sci-fi FPS-strategy game set in space, and revolves around the plot of humans finding a valuable new type of metal in space, along with the discovery of a hostile alien race whom want it as well.
The servers are down unfortunately, but you can still play online if you open port 17770 and join someones IP.
Its a hard game, but its a good time waster and very fun with more people.

The .dll is virus free, it came out of my system32 folder, and I have a fresh windows 8 installation, which comes with it.
Windows 7 does not, which is why I included it.
Some profiles are in the game already, as I uploaded my personal game.

Because the original in itself had some pretty crazy ass shit. They're both amazing games and my brother kept a small inkling of the community alive with his own servers in post 2005 era up until gamespy went down. The main point of the original battlezone was that it was as if two Beta fish were thrown into a lake by themselves and through instinct and will to survive attempted to kill each other to the point that the final fight was a cosmonaut commander desperately trying to moon walk away from a astronaut piloting a scavenger kamikaze style straight at him.
BZ '98 is very Robinson Crusoe, to the last man and the last round. While BZ 2 is very methodical and planned, both are two sides of the same coin and I love them dearly.

X6 had great boss designs, cool armors for X, an amazing soundtrack, an awesome end fight against Sigma, and was overall fairly memorable, which is way more than you can say about X5.
For all the stupid shit in the game, X6 is pretty underrated. Its way better than X5 at least, which was a bland, boring mess.

Hm no. X6 only has one fun stage - Mijinion's. The rest range from subpar to horrendous. Most of X5's stages are at least passable, though I'd say McWhalen and Heatnix are about equal in shittiness.
X6 is an excellent game but with killer flaws.
I want to see a romhack of this game that's abridged, re-translated, difficulty balanced, and has things like blind jumps fixed or removed.
Hey /vr/, been playing Banjo Kazooie and Tooie at my friend's house for the first time. I finished Kazooie and the Grunty fight was actually difficult. I kept falling off the castle but I eventually beat the warty witch.
Tooie is ridiculously huge, every stage feels overwhelming. Dinosaur land is kicking my ass. I'm on my way to Grunty Industries next.
So let's just discuss these great games.

I have yet to play Banjo Kazooie beyond the beach level. I dunno, it just feels kinda slow paced compared my all time favourite platformers, and IIRC, you have to collect a certain amount of stuff to progress.
I like fast platformers. Banjo Kazooie is fucking slow. It even looks slow when people speedrun it.
