Never had one but I hear/read the first model pictured there is objectively the best. So if I were to buy one, I'd look for that model.

how do I git gud in pic related? I can win the first three stages with no problem whatsoever (winning by more than a minute to the next rival), but then sweden comes and everything goes downfall from every stage afterwards, I start to struggle to get into the sixth first places. It's me, or does the CPU get competitive in those stages? oh, and the UK stage is fucking hell for me.

The prices seem to be reaching and even exceeding NES and SNES levels of bullshit, with common games like Smash demanding a whopping $50-$100 loose. Do you think they've reached a plateau, or are they just going to skyrocket even further?
Smash is sort of a special exception because tourneyfags snatch it up, and smash has a LOT of tourneyfags. Most other games, by which I mean anything that's not 1st party, is raising at the same slower & steady rate as most other retro.

When I was a depressed teenager I tried to start a video game in RPG Maker 2000 called "Animosity for Humans." I still have some of the title banners I made.

This will likely follow the same path as the Playstation core. High accuracy, inefficient, software onlyfinal destination.But it would work. Saturn emulation is absolutely TERRIBLE and needs a savior.
SSF has pretty good compatibility. But the GUI is terrible. It crashes randomly. It is Winbloze only. It requires CD emulation software to run games. This software is often shitty or filled with spyware.
Yabause is decent, but the project is stagnant. It has mediocre game compatibility.
This is why Saturn needs a hero.
You keep holding your breath, and I'll go over here and play everything I want on SSF without issue, and we'll see which one of us is happier in the end.

This is news to me, though if I recall correctly, he had more of a creative role in some later games beyond character design and art, need to see if this is true.

There was an old game I played when I was around 4 or 5. I can barely remember much detail about it other than: The character was similar to q-bert and used its nose to shoot projectiles. There was some type of lightbulb power ups and it was a side scroller. Finally the game is themed in blue. Any clue what this game? There was a section I couldn't get passed and I want to beat this shit 20 years later.
