Recommend some PS1 games please.

I know about Resident Evil, MGS, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro etc. but are there are any more less well known games, franchises that are really good and worth playing?

I got a chipped PS1 recently to help play games which are not really viable to buy e.g. Harmful Park.

Thanks.

Every so often there are "retro gaming in Latin America" thread, and they are very interesting. What about the Middle East? Do we have any Anons from there on this board? I know we do on the larger boards.

I'm sure they could've done something to have him just stand right by you on the platform too though.

Rifle through people's shit, take everything that isn't nailed down, defeat an ancient evil - all set in a fantasy world where magic and technology intermingle so much nobody really notices anymore.

What does /vr/ think of it? Which would you recommend to a newcomer to the series?

Fuck yeah! Good memories with this series.
I'd recommend:
Close Combat 3: The Russian Front
Close Combat 4: The Battle of the Bulge

Can't really give you an in depth reason why these ones. Seems like the developers really perfected things with these two. I don't know.

>What does /vr/ think of it?
I had 2 and played it from release until the 00's

Great game, loved every bit of it, Campaign mode where every battle actually counts in the bigger picture was amazing to me at the time, real tension but also great fun.

I read good things about the sequel set in Russia but the really recent ones look like pure shit.
>>
>>3260237
I've played most of them. They're great games. The new ones certainly don't look like shit to me. Only downside is that through every game the AI is notoriously retarded. But I'm playing a CC5 campaign against my friend and it is awesome. MG42s are wrecking my shit daily.
