The american version was shit because it wasn't a dragon ball game the licensing was removed.
If you want to play it in english just import the french version.
Not even kidding the fucking french version is in english for some unexplainable reason AND it's still dragon ball with no censorship at all.

What genre is it? Were any of the fighters any good? I was never into DB much so I never got around to trying them. Pretty much every other licensed anime fighter was ass though, which is disappointing. It's such a good genre fit for so many series.

Man I was so mad when the port of that game wasn't included on the US version of Dragon Ball Origins 2 like it was in Japan.
I have Super Goku-den, but no SFC to play it on. Other from that, the only retro Dragon Ball games I have Ultimate Battle 22 and Final Bout

Anyone knows of good old RPGs (my computer can't run shit so I ask here) that doesn't favor the "Good Samaritan" approach? Feel like most of them do this and this kills roleplay for me. If selecting the "yes Madame, I'll do that for you, and won't ask for a reward" nets always the most experience and loot, then any other choice come at the expense of my time (more grinding cuz little exp, pissing people off for sensible choices like asking for money in exchange, NPCs that can't be blackmailed...). I think I cannot be bothered with this anymore, I'm not even asking to be an evil asshole, just a neutral approach according to situation. Feel like Arcanum did this very well.

Icewind dale 2 was okay with this approach if I remember. Yeah, you'll be called an asshole for being neutral, but you'll get your stuff out of it.

As far as I know they aren't even available in Japanese.
Except for one or two non-retro franchises, I like to pretend Squeenix died with the release of FFXIII

Why is there no GBA port of Super Metroid?
I too have asked myself this question.
We got Metroid Fusion instead.
Besides, why would you want a crappy port that has inferior sound and reduced picture resolution?
It probably wouldn't run an SM port very well, also only 2 face buttons would really hurt gameplay.
I don't know whether to praise this game or not
On one hand it's very inferior to the other games in every category, on the other the lack of save feature along with constant onslaught of T-103s and hunters make this most intense game in the series yet
It is kinda funny how you can dodge most enemies but there are so many of them it feels like true survival
When I was younger and still played this I remember loving how the game threw you right into the breakout without any real exposition on the characters.

I love this game. No, it doesn't really stand up to any other first person shooters, but its got that cheesy B-movie feel that they eventually abandoned. Its also a great way to get a different perspective given that the player actually has some control of the camera in it. It really nailed the spooky factor, and the diverging paths give the game a lot of replay value.

Comix Zone is one game that wouldn't need a sequel, for one. That game was a product of its time; it had the pop culture of an entire decade stuffed in the cart. If they made one now, it wouldn't be as radical as the original.
