There's a PC RPG im pretty sure no one played before, but i can't for shit remember the name
my father bought for me probably at year 2000-2005 (not sure)it was a 3D RPG, there was skills and shit, you could pickpocket, persuade and all standard RPG shit, there were classes too i believe
i remember the start location was something like a city in desert, at the city gates
i remember reading the manual it had a part dedicated to conversations saying you could just leave the conversation pressing the X, but the NPC would thin bad of you (the silence speaks for him)
i just cant remember the fucking name, even looked in RPG lists and no luck

What's the best 3rd-party s-video Nintendo chord? Using it for N64, GCN, and eventually SNES when I get around to finding one for a fair price. I'm using it on a tube TV.

Typically if it doesn't have a yellow composite attached to it you're good. I picked one of the more popular ones on ebay that fit the criteria and it does just fine.
I recently nabbed an official SFC-era cable for a good price and I can't tell a difference besides the unoffiicial cable possibly making more of a buzzing sound. Nothing that justifies paying a lot extra.

All games, my father hated video games and resented my mother for buying them, he also hated computers and mobile phones, basically all the things a kid my age wanted growing up.
This game is incredibly relaxing to play, but it's fucking horrendously obscure.
It had a 64DD release and then somehow managed to get a GameCube release in PAL Regions. I just imported a copy and can play it region free on my Wii.

Yeah, most people know it from that trophy, but it's incredibly how few people know it was converted to the GameCube and had an english translation.
I imported the PAL GCN release. Really great, strange game. Plays fine on appropriately hacked Wii/Wii U. It's an obscure game even unto itself; so much of it is so strange and mysterious. I am a big fan. Embodies a lot of the mistiness of early 3D that I like so much. There's a second release on 64DD that seems even odder. Bummer we may never have a decent way to play it.
Did I miss the boat on these? PlayAsia says they haven't been released yet, but Amazon says out of stock and there are already videos of people using them on YouTube. Were those beta versions for reviewers, or are they sold out for now?
Has there been any news on whether they have plans to release similar devices for any other consoles?

The technique shines with Adventure Games like D, Myst or that one X Files title for the Play Station, and it can be a great gimmick a la Silpheed. I can also enjoy Dragons Lair clones for what they are.

Is the second game worth playing at all? I love the first. Everything about it is so perfect.
2nd is pretty much the same shit rehashed. supposedly more balanced but i thought the first was alot better.

I like the second a little better. Results may vary but if you like the first one it's almost certain you'll like the sequel. They're great games.

The second is significantly easier than SF1 and it has (IMO) a much better soundtrack. I feel SF1 had far better visuals and battle setup though.

Like keep playing the same games you grew up with and never playing new games is it a bad thing or what?
I still play new games. Bayonetta is probably one of my top 10 favorite games of all time.
I just seem to like older games more simply because it's the kind of game I'm used to, it's not nostalgia.
I never played Skyblazer as a kid, but I did recently and toroughly enjoyed it even though I have no sentimental connection with it. The same happens to me often, maybe I just enjoy a certain type of game or game design philosophy that I can't just find on newer games bar a few exceptions. But that doesn't mean I play exclusively old games, or that I only play games I know from my childhood (although I admit I do play certain old classics that I love, every now and then)

I don't stick to the games I grew up with, but anything that came out for the systems I played with as a kid is automatically +5 points in my list. Like, I would always enjoy a mediocre game for a nostalgic system more than a great one for any system I missed.
Is there any way to revert a UPS patch into the original files? I want to check the script for Mother 3's new French translation but they only host the patch.
