>>3346529
Waiting until I can pirate it. Been waiting for years, I barely even care anymore.
>>3347865
desu king of kong is better but this is still good.
>>3348198
I just downloaded it, it looks good so far. Might even be as good as KoK if it keeps up the pace.
Does /vr/ like RCT?
Not really, no.
>>3346218
Theme Park World is superior.
>>3346239
And by superior, I mean it's utter shit.
Has anyone on /vr/ had any luck before installing/running Win95 on Dosbox to play early Windows games?
>>3346083
that sounds terrifying
>>3346083
Yes. It's awful.
Install virtualbox and install a 32bit version of XP.
>>3346098
Alright, thanks. Guess I won't waste my time on it.
How do you pronounce Lakitu?
I say la-kee-two
>>3345906

Because that's how it's pronounced.
>>3345906
Lackitwo.
No emphasis on the i.
>most underrated soundtrack
>most underrated ambiance
>most underrated charm
i loved loved loved this game despite its highly significant flaws. i still cant beat it though.
thoughts?
>>3345817
Bump for OP. I struggled with this as a teen when it dropped, should I go back and see if I got good?
It's a very weird game from what I remember. I'd like to play through it again since I never beat it as a kid and only barely remember some of the larger game points.
It's inferior to Romancing Saga 3 in my opinion but still a great game.
Asellus and Red are the best scenarios. T260 is also cool for a full robot team.
After you finish like two scenarios you will realize you're doing the same thing over and over though. Still a fun game.
YEAH!!!
I killed the Dragon on Emerald Island!
Finally!
>>3345802
Good job on finishing the tutorial.

So I just beat Planescape: Torment the other night. Good game, great narrative, shit combat, you know the drill. But I've got some major issues with the endingThe game sums up its own major theme with the question 'what can change the nature of a man?' By the end of the game we see that the question is virtually unanswerable in a succinct fashion as the nature of the Nameless One and his incarnations, though sharing the same flesh, have developed into completely different individuals. TNO then regains the memories of his past selves by melding with...

i have this game. is it rare?
>>3345467
>I don’t see why in the end he must return to the Blood War
The Blood War is inescapable it's the equivalent of hell for D&D sinners. As all incarnations of TNO share the same soul weighted by the same sin that condemned him to the Blood War it makes no difference if he remembers his life or not. Because let's be honest his incarnations are nothing else but a altered states of mind not new beings with different souls.

Anyone up for playing some Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst on the Ephinea server?
https://ephinea.pioneer2.net/
>>3344339
Wasn't interested since I played way too much on DC/GC and a good chunk of Schtserv a few years ago, until I saw this:
>In Sandbox mode, you can make items, level up, and manipulate your character via server commands.
That's probably all I would do, I just want to have my level 200 FOnewearl back to derp around on without grinding for 1,000 hours.

One of my all time favorite games.
Such a memorable story, art style and soundtrack. Shame about the remake and newer games.
>>3343752
Hey, that's all you needed.
>>3343758
New N Tasty was great. If you think it sucked then you are saying nostalgia is all that is keeping you favorably enjoying the first two.
How's SNES emulation on Wii as of now? I remember that it was really damn stuttery when it began, but more than 5 years have passed.
Are there any games that it can't play fine? Star Fox 2 for example?
Runs pretty great. I hadn't found any issues and it's great to use component out cables
>>3343713
Nothing like slowdowns or something like that? I would use my PC, but it cannot go through 240p on an old TV.
Honestly, it plays perfectly for me. Have had 0 problems and I've beat Kirby Superstar and Yoshi's Island
Is there anything better than booting up the PlayStation for a few rounds of Wipeout 2097 with a cool, refreshing can of Red Bull®. Not only does Red Bull® taste delicious, but Red Bull® contains all the caffeine, taurine, and B vitamins that you need to give that extra edge on the competition.
who could be behind this post?
The funny part is Red Bull wasn't even sold in the US when that game came out. I remember playing it and thinking "what the fuck is Red Bull?"
Yes, that would be booting up the SNES for a few rounds of F-ZERO with a cool, refreshing bottle of Fat Tire®. Not only does Fat Tire® taste delicious, but Fat Tire® contains all the ethanol, ethanol and Belgianity that you need to give that extra edge on the depression.
When was the last time you replayed what was an old favorite, only to discover it's not as great as you remember?
Recently finished replaying Grandia for the first time in years and frankly it was really disappointing. The pacing was terrible and a lot of the dialogue dumps were just more annoying than anything. The worst part was how slow combat seemed to be compared to what I remember, not to mention the obnoxious load times before and after each fight.
Duke Nukem 3D. Played the holy fuck out of that game back in the day. Thought I could never get tired of it. Tried it again about 5 years back, and it felt somewhat gimmicky and the AI was brain-dead. Had some fun, but not nearly as much as I used to.
Half-Life also had a similar effect. Was the game I would play for hours on end back then. Was always amazed at how good the AI was and how real the world felt. Played it again a few years ago, and it felt sterile as fuck. Movement felt awkward, physics were wonky, and the levels felt repetitive. Worst of all, the AI felt...

Knowing the truth about Shana really takes anything neat away from any story after the first disc. Shit got tedious fast on 2 and I just quit there.
