What's the verdict on the Mega Man Legacy Collection?
It's shit.
It's great, highly recommended.
That you're paying for actual ROM files and there is absolutely no reason to pay money for the same files you and just go out and download.
If you absolutely have to have a mega man collection, get the Anniversary Collection (PS2 version preferably) That way you also get 7, 8, and the two arcade games.

Was watching season 10 of Trailer Park Boys last night. Cory and Jacob were playing an N64 with a GC controller and the standard sounds of Pac man 2600.

Pic related is D!Zone, a series of CD's that were purported to contain a shit ton of levels (mostly around 150, and some between 1000 and 3000). According to the wiki, these numbers were rounded up, included duplicates (separate maps for Doom 1 and Doom 2), often crashed, and were generally just shitty amateur maps.
The company is WizardWorks, they made some more of these weird disks.

They also made F!Zone, an expansion to Fury3. I played it not too long ago, it was fine. It had a kind of level editor, too.

I don't know if it's everything though and the lack of a custom palette tells me that these were converting to Doom's palette. They're slightly different.

Both and neither. It's a high-end laserdisc player that has a game slot in the bottom left corner, you could put in either of those boxes on the top and you'd then have either a Mega CD or a PC Engine CD.
It also allowed for a handful of laserdisc-enhanced Mega CD games, mostly FMV shit like Road Avenger and Time Gal.

No. Gunpei didn't leave the company right after the Virtual Boy, he left in 1996 after designing the Game Boy Pocket which was the last project he worked on. He felt he should stay with the company longer even though he already had plans to leave, since he felt he owed it to the company to design at least one more successful product to make up for the Virtual Boy's failure.
