One of the few games where I get sore after playing it for like an hour.
I've been playing some Samurai Shodown, and come to try playing the Japanese RPG version of the game, beautifully titled: Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushidö Retsuden. Beautiful. But well, I don't know, 4chan seems like the best place to ask. Is anyone up to do a translation? It seems the only translation to english there was being made is no more. I want to really savor the thing, and learning Japanese seems like too difficult a trial.

I can't read Japanese so I can't help much, but I'm definitely interested in this project. It's a shame that most cd consoles get passed over when it comes to translation patches. There are so many Japanese only PC Engine CD and Sega CD games I'm interested in.

learn to control space
learn some combos
MK 1 doesn't have too much variety, each character is very similar to each other. It's not a hard game to beat.

Anyone have experience with the RetroFreak? How is it?
It's pretty good though for the price can do most of the things that you can already do with a PC and/or a Raspberry Pi aside from the whole play from cartridges angle.
It's built better and has more use than the Retron 5 though the asking price is a bit much at $200. (My girlfriend bought mine so I can't complain too much)

Just ordered one of these from Amazon. Really getting into PS1 gaming and the stock PS2 D-pad hurt my fingers and are terrible for fighters. Anybody have any experience with the Dual Impact? Supposedly it has a mode where you can use the analog sticks as the digital d-pad, something very rare on PS1/PS2 gamepads.
Hopefully yours doesn't come with dried dogshit smeared over the face buttons like in your OP.
