Since none can lay claim to /his/ as their home board quite yet, I would like to ask what board we're all from and your historical area(s) of interest?
What does /his/ think of modern art?
This is modern "art". It's garbage.
This man was amazing
>inherited shithole country from coward father
>stabilized economy and rebuilt infrastructure
>promoted science and art
>brought Brazil from dinghies to dreadnoughts in decades
>quiet but calculating introvert
>surrendered country to regulation bloodlessly
>dies in another country watching his return to shit

>greatest person to ever rule a country
>not Frederick der GroBe
>charlemagne never existed
>614–911 never happened
>HRE Otto III, Pope Sylvester II, Constantine VII just wanted to be at 1000
>it's 1718 right now
Its a pretty novel concept, although it does kind of cut out a lot of pretty big things and records from outside of there tend to conflict. That's really all I can drum up on it. Perhaps some scientific research could be put towards it with dating and so such.
Would be a kick in the fucking pants wouldn't it?
What really caused it to fail?
To be fair it was kind of doomed when even the Crown wasn't behind it anymore. They ended up stranded and in situations like that it really just becomes a matter of time before things break down.
List your top five presidents in order. Defend your opinions and destroy other peoples' lists with your skill.
Who killed him?
So, exactly how far back are we going?
>Tfw this happened and there is nothing I, or any /pollack can do about it.
Can we discuss the genocide of Germans that occurred after WW2? Including POWs starved and killed by the allies and the soviets, the ethnic Germans who were purged in the east? As well as those wrongfully executed based on the findings of the kangaroo court known as the Nuremberg trials.
Why aren't we ever taught about this in school?
it ain't me thread
Find a flaw.
That's a modern map that poorly represents the colonies.
Why is the face of this board General Sherman?
Sherman ordered a bombardment of every city in the south he came across. “No consideration must be paid to the fact they are occupied by families, but the place must be cannonaded.”
He ordered his soldiers to rape women and children, then burn down their homes and eventually entire towns. He ordered his soldiers to kill every male, young or old even though they were not in the confederate army.
He was also known as a raging alcoholic that beat his wife and kids daily.
My fucking peasant, non slave owning ancestors were slaughtered by this piece of shit's soldiers.
If /his/ is going to ban offensive content why the fuck would you allow the war criminal as the face? Is it because I'm not Jewish so my suffering doesn't matter?!
What was the best way for America to deal with the USSR? Assuming the Soviet Union never went to shit and collapsed on its own, what policy was best for America? We all know containment didn't do shit. Would peace between their ideologies ever become a possibility or was the extended detente of the 70s the best it ever could've been?
